Well you might have heard of rent a crowd but in Hungary you can rent a rabbit!!!

DOTING Hungarian parents can now hire Easter rabbits for their children rather than buy them and avoid the tears when the furry friends end up in the pot.

Hungarian children have long been given live rabbits at Easter, a tradition not seen in other east European countries.

Up to now it has been more usual for families to buy the rabbits and just abandon them after Easter or eat them, Laszlo Perjesi, managing director of the Hungarian Rabbit Product Council, said.

If people rent them, that's a welcome development.

Perhaps these nonchalant rabbits were the rented ones.

Socco's philosophical thought for the day, "for every person with a lucky rabbit's foot, there's an unlucky three legged rabbit hopping around"!

That sounds like a cue for me to exit stage left in case anyone gets any ideas ;>)

I am staying at Best Western Premier pergolese. Which is OK and is near Argentine on the No1 Metro line.

Best Western Premier Richepanse is ok if you on an upper floor. The metro below the hotel can be noisy if you are below floor 2. This is between Concorde and Madelaine.

Often the website says they are fully booked but you can book through expedia.

I have to go into the office in central London today, then its of to Paris for 24 hours !

Keaydian, I see you managed to get up in the morning yesterday, lol.

Wow, folks up and around at crack of sparrows today! I too was up earlier. Had to drop her-indoors off at the bus station for she too is off to London to an art exhibition. I've also filled up the chara' with petrol and watered the garden.

Today is a work day, roll on retirement proper, should be soon as new chappie starts in a couple of weeks time. Then I will be able to spend more time keeping you lot in order and helping with the catering. Poor Bunny is run off her paws sometimes.
