Nice piece gav. EJ has tried to make amends for the bad editing last week.

Good for him.

Up of course dave!

Now here is a thought. We have ben a bit myopic about this so far but with there being finds at Pelican,Tiof.Tevet,Banda, I wonder if Sterling Energy can take 12% of those as well as that obtained via the Mauritannian Government so far?

Morning all,and here we are another week .

gavdfc - 08 Nov 2004 07:56 - 1448 of 7811

Morning all,

Looking forward to another week as always! As to the price this week, up would be nice but who knows in the coming weeks. May be a week or two until we see some movement once the new shares are placed.

proptrade - 08 Nov 2004 09:44 - 1449 of 7811

Hope so, lots of potential here, just sitting waiting for some good news...

seawallwalker - 08 Nov 2004 11:02 - 1451 of 7811

Having some nice crusty just baked french bread rolls for brunch.

Yummy!

The Other Kevin - 08 Nov 2004 11:07 - 1452 of 7811

Do you bake your own from scratch or do you use a bread-making machine?

seawallwalker - 08 Nov 2004 11:14 - 1453 of 7811

I buy these from the bakers.

Can't talk, mmmph..........mmmph...........eating.........

seawallwalker - 08 Nov 2004 11:20 - 1454 of 7811

proptrade - 08 Nov 2004 11:35 - 1455 of 7811

white no sugar plse

willfagg - 08 Nov 2004 12:00 - 1456 of 7811

My guess is they will drift to the offer price for the X million they are raising. Which I am guessing will be 17p. Shares that I have been involved in where they have raised cash through increasing the number of shares have had a nasty habit of weakening the share price for some time.I still would not be surprised to see this drift lower than 17p before heading north.

daves dazzlers - 08 Nov 2004 12:09 - 1457 of 7811

Afternoon nice bit of 17 on the cards here,,looks like 15 is know where to be seen.

Fundamentalist - 08 Nov 2004 13:23 - 1458 of 7811

Rumour on other BB is that one broker has stated that the offer price is 17p and that they got 53% of the shares they wanted - hence oversubscribed by 2:1

DYOR etc etc

daves dazzlers - 08 Nov 2004 13:26 - 1459 of 7811

Cheer`s steve,just a case of watch/wait.

Fundamentalist - 08 Nov 2004 13:27 - 1460 of 7811

DD

Id rather be in the day before the placing than the day after but that is just my view. If it is oversubscribed you may see a very quick mark up back above 20p

seawallwalker - 08 Nov 2004 13:28 - 1461 of 7811

I have just seen that too.

Oversubscribed and the takers know the details.

Can't be a bad deal after all then?

I'll tell the wife she can have a couple of evenings off, from selling her 'wares' on the seafront in view of that!

Glad really, got fed up with counting pennies.

I see PMO is bouncing back today, not so HNR and ROC!

namreh3 - 08 Nov 2004 13:40 - 1462 of 7811

Appears lots more sellers than buyers of PMO at these levels SWW. The trades of SEY at 17.33 are buys, not sells as were many last Fri. Time to get further in chaps, they will not be at this level for long.

seawallwalker - 08 Nov 2004 13:43 - 1463 of 7811

2 lots of 200000 just gone through as buys at 18p.

That must be you davesdazzlers.

Never could resist a bargain in the end, hey?

daves dazzlers - 08 Nov 2004 13:54 - 1464 of 7811

Wishfull sw.

daves dazzlers - 08 Nov 2004 14:19 - 1465 of 7811

Open to all, but what sort of time scale are we looking at before these new shares come to the open market,,i know we cant buy them,,but the holders can sell quick.
