THE TALK TO YOURSELF THREAD. (NOWT)

goldfinger - 09 Jun 2005 12:25

Thought Id start this one going because its rather dead on this board at the moment and I suppose all my usual muckers are either at the Stella tennis event watching Dim Tim (lose again) or at Henly Regatta eating cucumber sandwiches (they wish,...NOT).

Anyway please feel free to just talk to yourself blast away and let it go on any company or subject you wish. Just wish Id thought of this one before.

cheers GF.

Not sure whether those in the bed, or basket, are supposed to be the tory cabinet, the bankers or the city in general.

An observation about what is shown :

A lot of fat 'City Tory Pigs' (ie they have blue and white striped shirts with red braces) and are all grinning and stuck in a trough.

Pigs appear to be flying high (high flyers?). One pig is actually a donor to the Tory Party.

Someone giving a 'Nazi salute' has fallen out of the trough.

Fat cat also in the trough. Fat cat is acting like 'God the Creator' (as per Sistine Chapel) and reaching out a finger to a very relaxed and chubby 'toff baby Cameron' lying on a green grass hillside and who is sorta illustrating a kinda naive purity by gently holding his cross. The baby appears to be blushing too.

Something about the baby's eyes is apparently significant and indicative too. What can it be?

And what is it about the baby's fancy shoes?

Hmmm?

Exec,

Your powers of observation are greater than mine.

I will have to show them to my wife to explain the symbolism within the cartoon.

I find words difficult enough.

mmmh

Exec,

The shoes could be related to Cameron's seemingly delusional state.

The last update, is deal still not done.
Even if a deal is done, the Greek people won't stand for any further austerity measures.
There is a general strike for 24 hour due to the present squeeze, so anything worse, will not be accepted.
There is only one, conclusion and that will be for the Greeks to de-fault.
we know this, the politicians know this.
The only trouble is, no politician wants to be the first to stand up and be counted.

What a wimpy lot they are!
