The trouble with that J Stratford is if you really think about it most BBQs are lit around 7pm to 8pm in the summer and if they are a charcoal one you eat even later. Mind you I suppose there is nothing new about it raining when you are out in the garden having a BBQ, lol.

Bluey, Agree with you, but don't you find it funny to watch everyone scurrying to protect there wonderful BBQ equipment that they've just got it out and hot when it starts raining?

Certainly do, J Stratford, it's at times like those that I am glad I am a female, lol. Many a time I have seen a male continue the BBQ either in the shed or with an umbrella held over his head. But they are normally fun events and great to be outside with friends.
