Golden week → A concession of holidays from the end of April through

*The 3rd of May -- Constitution day
* The 5th of May -- Children's day
*Plus, Satureday and Sunday
*Plus paid holidays (optional)

Hi stockbunny,
What is this new interest in Japanese holidays? Found out the reason for Greenery day and of course this could be related to England when Charles becomes king due to his love of plants.
Greenery Day (Midori no hi):
Until 2006, Greenery Day used to be celebrated on April 29, the birthday of former Emperor Showa. The day is dedicated to the environment and nature, because the emperor loved plants and nature. Before being declared Greenery Day, May 4 used to be a national holiday due to a law, which declares a day, that falls between two national holidays, a national holiday.
Socrates, for someone who offers FEB so frequently, to now admit you are not so good at cooking is probably very wise!!!
Spaceman, I thought you would have learnt your lesson about asking for a BBQ'd Danish after the cherry and walnut cakes.

Spaceman, didn't we tell you that Keaydian was in charge of the BBQ, lol. Not true but the danish has now been charred to an unrecognisable state and could possible be used for a dangerous missile.
Keaydian, Good afternoon, have you been there long?
