Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

stockbunny - 08 May 2007 13:28 - 14892 of 24230

Because I am but a simple bunny and I believe everything they tell me......
;>)

optomistic - 08 May 2007 13:33 - 14893 of 24230

LOL

Bluelady - 08 May 2007 13:33 - 14894 of 24230

Well that is slightly risky... you should know not to believe postings on BBs unless you do some research of your own to verify the facts......and on THAT note I will now quietly close the coffee house door and never enter again!!

stockbunny - 08 May 2007 13:38 - 14895 of 24230

LOL Bluelady....Yes you are right but No I shall believe them, if they are regular residents in the coffee house they are beyond all doubting - even if I am still waiting for my pay rise of 500% promised in January.........
;>)

Bluelady - 08 May 2007 13:43 - 14896 of 24230

WOW, a 500% payrise, I might just stick around stockbunny to see if it materialises, LOL.....

JStratford - 08 May 2007 13:50 - 14897 of 24230

The question is what was the payrise for? ;-)

chocolat - 08 May 2007 13:51 - 14898 of 24230

Now fluffylugs - you know you must've had it, judging by what you were on before ;)

stockbunny - 08 May 2007 14:08 - 14899 of 24230

Well I know but it's difficult to calculate...as Jeffie said how do you work out 500% of nothing? It's a tough one....
;>)

Bluelady - 08 May 2007 14:22 - 14900 of 24230

Hi stockbunny, no wonder you are still awaiting a payrise if it's 500% x 0. This amazing sum of money promised to you, I hope you didn't promise to increase your hours in the coffeehouse serving us in return for it, lol.

J Stratford, obviously it wasn't you who gave stockbunny such hope of an increased payrise.

JStratford - 08 May 2007 14:39 - 14901 of 24230

Bluey, No. I've haven't had the pleasure of giving Bunny anything ;-)

Bluelady - 08 May 2007 14:42 - 14902 of 24230

J Stratford, not even a serenade with your guitar?

stockbunny - 08 May 2007 14:48 - 14903 of 24230

No that is quite true BlueLady, JS hasn't even been responsible for a flea outbreak or anything ;>)

Bluelady - 08 May 2007 14:56 - 14904 of 24230

Stockbunny, LOL. Ok that was very good of you to diagnose that J Stratford was not responsible for the flea outbreak BUT are you telling me there has been one?

JStratford - 08 May 2007 15:06 - 14905 of 24230

No guitar playing and no flea dancing. My artistic skills have been placed on the side. No more requests and no more slow dances. It appears as if K.'s disco dancing is here to stay.

Oh, and I blame the old Gold coloured dog for the fleas.

stockbunny - 08 May 2007 15:13 - 14906 of 24230

Yes you could be right JS, Goldie did like a good stratch ;>)
Keaydians disco dancing...hmmm...what can I say.....
;>)

JStratford - 08 May 2007 15:29 - 14907 of 24230

Pessamistic thought for the day: Just read somewhere that the Dow's run has been the longest run with only three down days since 1927... Now can those of you who are older than me please remind me what happened shortly after 1927?

stockbunny - 08 May 2007 15:32 - 14908 of 24230

Duh........a Depression......a world war......Elvis........Britain winning the Eurovision Song Contest - AH! that's it then! ;>)

JStratford - 08 May 2007 15:35 - 14909 of 24230

Depression... with Brown in charge - never going to happen. World War... with Bush in charge - don't be silly. That leaves a choice of two, one of which is frankly impossible to ever happen again.

So who wants to buy Elvis tickets then?

Bluelady - 08 May 2007 15:37 - 14910 of 24230

J Stratford, just how much of that liquorice have you eaten? Anyway you were born after 1927 so which one of .... a Depression......a world war......Elvis........Britain winning the Eurovision Song Contest would your parents say your birth reminded them when they look at you, ;0).

JStratford - 08 May 2007 15:42 - 14911 of 24230

Well Bluey, 26 years ago today, I think my parents hoped I'd be the next Elvis who would win the Eurovision song contest. Little did they know the depression that they would have to go through as I started World War three with my older brother and sister.
