J Stratford, yes it is amazing how much we can glean from the internet.

stockbunny - 08 May 2007 16:29 - 14921 of 24230

Well he's slightly before my time - certainly when he was best known anyway I was way too young to be watching Brain Rix! Don't you two watch quiz shows or do crosswords/puzzles? Often these odd snippets come from hearing/reading it somewhere.

stockbunny - 08 May 2007 16:48 - 14922 of 24230

Ok I'm leaving a quiz book on the side for your leisurely pleasure ;>)
Along with a spare packet of Australian liquorice - better I leave it here as I swear it is addictive......
:>SS

sorry bunny, I missed the first post where you said Australian !!! silly me...

Trouble with that stuff is that it comes in very large bags and I am not very good at resisting it....

Bluelady - 08 May 2007 22:25 - 14924 of 24230

Hi stockbunny, lol do I spot a spelling mistake with Brian Rix's name? I occasionally watch quiz shows, never do crossword puzzles and have never heard of Brian Rix until today. Glad that you said you were way too young to have watched him in his more well known days, saw his age on the internet!!!

optomistic - 08 May 2007 23:42 - 14925 of 24230

I notice one or two resident posters not mentioning remembering Brian Rix....I think I will say no more as well :-/

Bluelady - 08 May 2007 23:56 - 14926 of 24230

Evening optomistic, those two danishes seemed to have filled you up. How is the alarm clock?

optomistic - 09 May 2007 00:01 - 14927 of 24230

Bluelady - 09 May 2007 00:05 - 14928 of 24230

optomistic - 09 May 2007 00:06 - 14929 of 24230

Time to retire now, goodnight Blue....and to any 'lurkers' as well :-)

optomistic - 09 May 2007 00:07 - 14930 of 24230

Bluelady - 09 May 2007 00:43 - 14936 of 24230

I trust you have closed your curtains as it's night time. Could be embarrassing if you have the lights on.

Bluelady - 09 May 2007 00:44 - 14937 of 24230

Goodnight chocolat, sleep well.

Spaceman - 09 May 2007 00:44 - 14938 of 24230

We dont have any curtains here, just blinds and I have just closed them, about 5 minutes ago, but I am on the 3rd floor ;-)
