Morning all. Is it just me, or does nobody drink coffee in this place?

Well I don't, but I'm sure someone must - Jeffie does when he's about, Keaydian and Fundy also...
But I'll try and remember to put coffee on for you JS :>)
Don't worry Opto, any false moves by the baker and I'll direct him to you guys ;>)

Morning JS, yes it is a coffee house! I suppose most of us are just plain contrarian.

Opto, I'm certainly contrarian when it comes to the markets!
Bunny, don't worry about the coffee, don't touch the stuff myself. I was just suprised nobody seemed to drink it in here, only truck stop thick brown tea seems acceptable :-)

Even Bunnies can't exactly count that as a balanced diet! About to go into a rant so will now go back to working in the corner, ignore the muttering :-(

Thanks optomistic for putting the urn on in the morning.
Stockbunny, I like coffee, lol.
J Stratford, I thought you were a good cook re freshly caught salmon. Please don't sulk because of stockbunny's choice of elevensies. She did offer Paella the other day for elevensies. Ok I know it was for lunch but the time was just too early!!

Bluey, since you asked nicely, I'll stop sulking! The comment about Pasta and Ketchup was actually due to me being told by a certain young lady after I'd spent best part of an hour preparing a rather nice vegetable and pasta dish that just pasta and ketchup would have done. Talk about gratitude! As it was also her one meal a day, just made me slightly worried about the average persons health. Anyway, rant over! Have a cup of coffee :-)

Morning all, brighter in Hastings than it was at 0100 this morning...
I never drink coffee at home but I do have it when I am out and coffee from a machine normally seems better than tea from a machine.

J Stratford, biggest lol by me to date with regards to all that effort for a meal and such a retort from your lady friend. What was your response? Only one meal a day!!! Blimey think of all the time she must save if not shopping, cooking and washing up.
Thanks for the coffee.
Good morning Spaceman, glad that it's brighter there.

Spacie, think it was brighter last night when I had the lights on than it is now :-(
Bluey, can't actually remember what my response was - think I just carried on with lightling candles. Mind you she did like the cheese. Wonder what her life expectancy is, probably better than mine, but still!

J Stratford, you are not still in that corner if it's not very bright where you are, lol.
Yes there is no justice in the world with how some people can get away with disfunctional and indequate eating habits and still be relatively healthy whereas others eat religiously at least 5 portions of fruit and veg and get health problems. I am eating a packet of crisp btw as I type....the healthy packet where it says 45% less saturated fat, lol.
Stockbunny, not dandilions I hope ;0).

Mrs S is here at the moment so no fish fingers for luch today, but..... she made me kippers which I love and to make it even better they were served with white bread !!!!! normally, when discovered, my white bread stash ends up in the bin and I have to have brown bread.
Now all I need is a nice cup of tea ;-)

Spacie, one mug of tea, afraid all the cups need washing :-)
Bunny, so that's the secret to your astonishing good looks is it?
Bluey, Smoking drinking and eating unhelathily seem to be the trademark of the women I meet, and then they have the audacity to try and change me!!!

Just been ironing all those tea towels and folded them, lol. Next task is to wash the sink full of mugs and teaspoons.
Spaceman sounds delicious, the white bread, not the kippers, lol.
J Stratford, I suppose it's the fact that you have recently been a student, (although were you if you are 26 yrs ;0)) that is probably typical of the males and females of the student fraternity...smoking, drinking and unhealthy eating. Trying to change you...well I better keep quiet about that one.
