Alf I favour IMB over BATS for the following reasons:

A) IMB investment plans seem sensible and doesn't hamper payouts.

B) BATS yields less then IMB.

C) Concerns about BATS mammoth debt load if it secures the deal with Reynolds which it is pursuing.

D) IMB a possible takeover target if BATS secures the Reynolds deal
