Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

Bluelady - 14 May 2007 08:26 - 15051 of 24230

Socrates, that's nice to hear it's usually a good thing. Was MAM closed for essential maintenance work?

IanT(MoneyAM) - 14 May 2007 08:27 - 15052 of 24230

Bluelady,

that message you saw for a moment was due to the network issue which is now resolved

ian

Bluelady - 14 May 2007 08:29 - 15053 of 24230

Thanks Ian, that is what I call service.

Socrates - 14 May 2007 08:29 - 15054 of 24230

IanT
Thank you for that, I was not aware that you frequented the cafe but with such gracious company in here, I am not surprised.

KEAYDIAN - 14 May 2007 08:57 - 15055 of 24230

Booooooooooooo Bluelady Boooooooooooooo

KEAYDIAN - 14 May 2007 08:59 - 15056 of 24230

(Moves speakers back to the cupboard for another time)

Bluelady - 14 May 2007 09:02 - 15057 of 24230

Hi Keaydian, LOL. When Socrates said to Ian that there was such gracious company in this coffee house I am sure he included you Keaydian!!!

Bluelady - 14 May 2007 09:06 - 15058 of 24230

Keaydian, Isn't it rather early for you?

Socrates - 14 May 2007 09:12 - 15059 of 24230

On account of it being a stinker of a day, I have put some extra soft blankets in the hammock, made tea and coffee and lit a log fire in the fireplace. No doubt Keaydian has found the cosy chair and fallen asleep.

KEAYDIAN - 14 May 2007 09:15 - 15060 of 24230

Eh, early! Waaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhh look at the time.

zzzzzzz zzzzzzzzz zzzzzzz zzzzzzzz

Bluelady - 14 May 2007 09:16 - 15061 of 24230

Hi Socrates, I think I am more affected by the blue in my portfolio than the lousy weather, lol. I have CPNR and VIY and they have risen far more in the last month than some of mine which I have held for years!!!! But I do love a log fire.

Bluelady - 14 May 2007 09:19 - 15062 of 24230

See Keaydian, I am not just a pretty face. At the third stroke it's going to be later than that earlier reminder of the previous mention of it being early.

stockbunny - 14 May 2007 09:20 - 15063 of 24230

Morning all - I hope we are all feeling happy this Monday despite the weather!
:>)

Socrates - 14 May 2007 09:24 - 15064 of 24230

Bluelady, those two seem to have done well recently. I have tended to go more for bluechips these days as a risk reduction exercise. Also had some nice dividends as well.

What's with this Yellow Haired Warrior thingy?

I'll put the hammock closer to the log fire, not too close though.

Bluelady - 14 May 2007 09:31 - 15065 of 24230

Good morning stockbunny, how are your pawa in this wet and damp weather. Can I offer you a towel?

Socrates, glad that you asked about the yellow haired warrior. I have a slight feeling that is the reason why Ian has been reading this thread!!! I had held CPNR ever since it doubled in one day last year. Of course it went lower after that decision to buy although I could have sold at a small profit on the day. I then bought every so often it went lower. Only small sums, though. I have bluechip ones also and when I do buy them I buy in larger quantities .

stockbunny - 14 May 2007 09:38 - 15066 of 24230

No worries Bluelady - I've changed out of my wellies and into my fluffy slippers ;>)

Socrates - 14 May 2007 09:39 - 15067 of 24230

Large quantities Bluelady, that's more than my 10 shares then?

I'm still no wiser about the Yellow Haired Warrior.

Bluelady - 14 May 2007 09:46 - 15068 of 24230

Stockbunny, How on earth do you hop with wellington boots?

Socrates, You like the number 10, lol. Less than 10 trades in a year and buying only 10 shares. I've googled the yellow haired warrior and came up with lots of interesting information but WHY spaceman changed the logo mystifies me!!!

Socrates - 14 May 2007 09:53 - 15069 of 24230

Perhaps he will enlighten us in due course.

stockbunny - 14 May 2007 09:58 - 15070 of 24230

Ah its all in the technique - as the bishop said to the actress ;>)
