On account of it being a stinker of a day, I have put some extra soft blankets in the hammock, made tea and coffee and lit a log fire in the fireplace. No doubt Keaydian has found the cosy chair and fallen asleep.

Hi Socrates, I think I am more affected by the blue in my portfolio than the lousy weather, lol. I have CPNR and VIY and they have risen far more in the last month than some of mine which I have held for years!!!! But I do love a log fire.

See Keaydian, I am not just a pretty face. At the third stroke it's going to be later than that earlier reminder of the previous mention of it being early.

Bluelady, those two seem to have done well recently. I have tended to go more for bluechips these days as a risk reduction exercise. Also had some nice dividends as well.
What's with this Yellow Haired Warrior thingy?
I'll put the hammock closer to the log fire, not too close though.

Good morning stockbunny, how are your pawa in this wet and damp weather. Can I offer you a towel?
Socrates, glad that you asked about the yellow haired warrior. I have a slight feeling that is the reason why Ian has been reading this thread!!! I had held CPNR ever since it doubled in one day last year. Of course it went lower after that decision to buy although I could have sold at a small profit on the day. I then bought every so often it went lower. Only small sums, though. I have bluechip ones also and when I do buy them I buy in larger quantities .

Large quantities Bluelady, that's more than my 10 shares then?
I'm still no wiser about the Yellow Haired Warrior.

Stockbunny, How on earth do you hop with wellington boots?
Socrates, You like the number 10, lol. Less than 10 trades in a year and buying only 10 shares. I've googled the yellow haired warrior and came up with lots of interesting information but WHY spaceman changed the logo mystifies me!!!

Hi Spaceman, I have personally spoken to your wife and assured her that white bread is extremely nutrious and she is willing to not only allow you to continue to buy the white bread but also she will not hide it from you nor throw it in the bin.
Whilst you are in a good mood ........I am really curious as to why you have changed the logo in the coffeehouse to the yellow haired warrior.
Socrates, do you think the above might help him to enlighten us, LOL?

Morning all, its a lot brighter here is Hastings than it was earlier .....
Bluelady, I think she must have changed her mind since you spoke to her as Mrs S (who isnt really Mrs S) denies allowing me to have have white bread !!!
I thought a new random theme in the scrolling logo would be fun. So the question is where does that quote come from? you have to be exact ;-)

Its easy to find where it comes from but in order to win the prize you have to be exact about where its from.
PS the prize is a gourmet Fish Finger sandwitch made with Haddock fish fingers, fine white bread and Tomato ketchup.

Spaceman, could be when Buffalo Bill, in his stage clothing, killed and scalped a Cheyenne warrior named Yellow Hair (often mis-translated as "Yellow Hand").
I must admit I never spoke to your girlfriend...could be interesting if a Mrs S and girlfriend!!! I will supply you with your beloved white bread.
