Marchpole is one of those stocks which have had a really bad time. Boardroom battles, losses, price collapse, profit warnings up the ying yang.

Now all of those things seem to be sorted out, new management are getting to grips, new contracts and the price is on the up. So much so that Monday ought to see a 50/200 day MA golden cross.

DYOR of course, but I think I will be putting a few of these away at the open.

designer, will be joining Marchpole with immediate effect in the capacity of
Ungaro Head of Design , to create collections for the Company under the Ungaro
and Emanuel Ungaro trademarks.

Jose Levy (40) is famous for his tailored menswear, and has worked formerly with
Holland & Holland, Nina Ricci and Cacharel; and at the same time produced his
own collections which met with critical acclaim.

He will work from Marchpole's studio in Paris with a team of designers in close
collaboration with the design team at Emanuel Ungaro SA initially to launch the
autumn/winter 2005 collection.

Super news and super day rise too. What more can one ask from a share?

40p!!! or is that greedy?? well done to all holders.

Depends when you think it will hit 40p! I'm in this one for the long haul as I think the prospects are excellent. Look at the recent newsflow, profits rising, sales up, new licences, paying a divi, an excellent growth share IMO. Cracking share. And lots of director buying, putting their own money on the line.

so having chikened out 28p - a little too soon? sorry if I have missed this, but when are results due - is there a moneyampage that you can see when results are coming?

Last years results were out 22/10 so would expect this years to be around the same time.

m100, no reason not to get back in again. The price may drift a bit and any dip will present an excellent buying opportunity. I am looking to top up if the offer drops below 30p.

Missed the chance yesterday to buy under 30p, took advantage of drop in price of AMT and topped up there instead.

Typical, you wait for a buying opportunity and two come along at once !!

Capa, think quite a few holders were waiting for a drop under 30p of a couple of pence or so. Don't know if we will see that though. If we hold at this level then may add again, def adding if it does drop back though.

Should be a good run up to the results, which I think will be good. Added some more last week, waited for a pullback but it didn't happen. Results were out last year on 22/10 if I remember correctly.

Bit miffed about missing chance to buy at under 30p the other day, not sure now whether this is going to drift down to that level again. Thinking about adding right this minute, whats a penny when these are likely to be 40p+ come interims next month.
