grannyboy - 10 Sep 2012 13:52 - 1531 of 2393

No "abnormal" pressures have been encountered..

Still all to play for, its the shorters and the likes of cynics of this worlds thats making the hay well they have the chance and relishing the the thought of rubbing the noses in the dirt of the LTH's..

The fingers are crossed of course...

rf the point of the rns was because of the fall in the s/p! DOH!.

tony727 - 10 Sep 2012 13:52 - 1532 of 2393

Char Did the same then announced a duster ........ I am afraid this is looking the same

cynic - 10 Sep 2012 13:59 - 1533 of 2393

i truly wish i had the influence as to a share's direction ...... granny's inaccurate sniping worries me not one iota, though it does get rather tiresome ...... and am i short of fogl? ..... assuredly not; i am long but at a prudent level reflecting the very high risk of this stock

unkind of me as it may be, if this does indeed prove to be an early forecast of a duster, i shall not exactly cheer if P and his acolytes like granny get badly singed through being (foolishly) overexposed, but it will be with some difficulty that i shall refrain from saying "i did warn you heavily, which you chose to ignore and indeed abused me for so doing"

required field - 10 Sep 2012 14:04 - 1534 of 2393

That is not very clever by FOGL to release that rns.....

cynic - 10 Sep 2012 14:05 - 1535 of 2393

RF - you're not a bad chap, and sorry if the above looks to include you

Proselenes - 10 Sep 2012 14:07 - 1536 of 2393

The EIS stated drilling operations of 40 to 45 days so they are on schedule - they tell you in the RNS that they are "behind schedule" which tells you they have not drilled quickly, they are slow by 5 days.

All to play for on logging. I have not sold any - not my plan, waiting for the logging results now - they must have something.

The additional casing in the upper section suggests gas up there, above T1 target, so guessing T1 failed - but who knows - will be a lot of interest in the bottom section - Three Bears and the potential oil there or not.

Holding long and strong !!

required field - 10 Sep 2012 14:07 - 1537 of 2393

I fear it might do, I probably should not have bought as many......there is still the possibility of a success....but they should not have released this rns out of the blue with the operations still ongoing....

Chariot Oil & Gas Limited

Response to Share Price Movement

Chariot Oil & Gas Limited (AIM: CHAR), the independent Africa focused oil and gas company, notes the recent fall in the share price.

As announced on 27 July 2012, the drilling of the Kabeljou exploration well on the Nimrod prospect has commenced and operations are continuing. The results of the well are not yet known. Once the well has reached TD and the results have been logged a further announcement will be made.

Balerboy - 10 Sep 2012 14:14 - 1539 of 2393

too many eggs in one basket RF no good.,.

Proselenes - 10 Sep 2012 14:16 - 1540 of 2393

RF - the only way they will know if any section, in particular the lowest Three Bears has oil or not is to do the wireline logging and tests on it.

Fresh water appears the same as oil (as we all know from DES) and so it all needs to be tested in order to give the full results.

cynic - 10 Sep 2012 14:17 - 1541 of 2393

bitter experience has warned me not to piss against the wind, so have cut losses at 63.75 ..... i still hold RKH but that is a pretty dire investment at the moment too, though at least they have some proven oil

tony727 - 10 Sep 2012 14:19 - 1542 of 2393

45p coming the yanks will bale ..........

hlyeo98 - 10 Sep 2012 14:19 - 1543 of 2393

DES, BOR and now FOGL.

cynic - 10 Sep 2012 14:20 - 1544 of 2393

my gut feeling too, though i have no idea to where sp may tumble so have not shorted

Balerboy - 10 Sep 2012 14:25 - 1545 of 2393

I'm waiting for the bounce.............lol

blackdown - 10 Sep 2012 14:30 - 1546 of 2393

Where's Miss P's £24/share?

HARRYCAT - 10 Sep 2012 15:04 - 1547 of 2393

One slightly bizarre detail is that the spud RNS was issued on the 6th Aug 2012, with an expected TD time of approx 60 days, yet today's RNS says that TD should be within the next 24 hrs. Not quite sure how they can now be 5 days behind schedule?

Proselenes - 10 Sep 2012 15:07 - 1548 of 2393

The EIS states drilling operations as 40 to 45 days.

60 operational days is total time to set up, spud, drill, log and P&A the well and start the rig move.

HARRYCAT - 10 Sep 2012 15:11 - 1549 of 2393

Yes, you're right. It does say 'well operations' rather than TD.
Will be interesting to see if this turns out to be a massive bear raid or a genuine bad news RNS. Will hold my stock for now as not too exposed here.

aldwickk - 10 Sep 2012 15:32 - 1550 of 2393

could well [pun] be a a massive bear raid , but i have reduced my holding at a 25% loss.

What would be the upside if they strike oil/gas ?
