VOG will go down to 40p or even lower no doubt as there are much better oil stocks to consider.

janetbennison - 03 Apr 2007 20:36 - 1540 of 2511

I had 30,000 vog and sold out not that long ago at .656p. I think it was around 3 weeks ago without looking back throught the paperwork. If I still held them now I would be around 3000 worse off. I was actually buying these shares at 2.50 per share in april 2006. What has happened to them? I can remember one day when they went up .80p in one day. It even went through my mind today to buy them back, but I did not. Good luck all holding.

cynic - 04 Apr 2007 11:10 - 1541 of 2511

"glug" seems to be the order of day again, though not yet "glug glug glug"

janetbennison - 04 Apr 2007 12:20 - 1542 of 2511

I have just bought my 30,000 vog back at .52p. Good luck all

Big Al - 04 Apr 2007 12:23 - 1543 of 2511

I was really tempted to long this earlier today. There's certainly a base forming around 50p and the spike down this morning seemed to get bought.

cynic - 04 Apr 2007 12:37 - 1544 of 2511

a pretty brave punt (imo) .... 48 was a reasonable level for a gamble ..... imo, 52 was too much to pay ..... so what stoploss are you inserting?

Big Al - 04 Apr 2007 12:40 - 1545 of 2511

True.

Also note the hugh 6800 sell bot at 52p. Price ain't going anywhere ordinarily with that firing like it is.

hlyeo98 - 04 Apr 2007 16:10 - 1546 of 2511

Very brave to buy VOG at 52p.

Big Al - 04 Apr 2007 16:13 - 1547 of 2511

They're a bit cheaper now. ;-))

hlyeo98 - 04 Apr 2007 17:24 - 1548 of 2511

VOG is only a buy at 40-42p.

cynic - 04 Apr 2007 17:45 - 1549 of 2511

pretty much agree, and perhaps not even then

janetbennison - 05 Apr 2007 14:25 - 1550 of 2511

did any of you manage to get back into vog? They have been up to .55p today. good luck all holding. When I bought my 3,000 back at .52p yesterday I bought them back 4080 cheaper that I sold for so I am happy. would have been bet at .48p like you said. but you have to get in some where.. good luck all.

cynic - 06 Apr 2007 16:58 - 1551 of 2511

and almost certainly better still to put money elsewhere

skyhigh - 06 Apr 2007 18:32 - 1552 of 2511

This from Peter Shearlocks Small Cap Stock Picks rec'd last night (for what it's worth!)

Victoria switches attention to Kemerkol

It has been a rotten ride at Victoria Oil & Gas (VOG) since I tipped the shares in January last year at 162.5p, and they have continued to slide in the past week to a current 50.5p. But with a change of management at the top and a new strategy to switch the thrust of the drilling spend away from the tricky West Medvezhye field in Mongolia to the Kemerkol field in Kazakhstan, VOG is a lot more likely to start generating cash flow sooner rather than later.

Last week it announced a six-well drilling programme in Kemerkol that it hopes will result in production of around 500 barrels a day by mid-year. There will still be drilling at West Medvezhye and VOG also has its sights set on acquisitions. The shares should not be sold now.

Best wishes

janetbennison - 06 Apr 2007 18:55 - 1553 of 2511

I have bought mine to hang on to for a while. good luck

skyhigh - 12 Apr 2007 14:35 - 1554 of 2511

skyhigh - 12 Apr 2007 15:30 - 1556 of 2511

Not impressed anyone has it ?

hlyeo98 - 12 Apr 2007 18:15 - 1557 of 2511

VOG is running out of cash...beware.

HARRYCAT - 12 Apr 2007 22:11 - 1558 of 2511

Unless they hit a gusher of course, which would help the bank balance considerably!
