Typical eh Spacie... ah well, I'll just carry on dreaming of nurses instead ;-)

Bunny, as Spacie says, it's probably empty. Don't try using it instead of propane as the jets, etc. are different. Best bet is to ring up the local gas depot and ask them to collect it. Their name should be printed on the cannister, as technically it's still their property. Either that or drop it round to them. It's perfectly safe, provided you don't do anything stupid like opening the valve when you're having a fag, and even then you'd have to be very unlucky.

Don't take it round the Dump, and no it won't explode until it gets ver, very hot and even then it'll have a lead plug that should melt first and release the gas in a controlled fashion.

bunny it will be fine in the shade, if its a heavy steel canister it does not even need to be in the shade.

Is it one of the camping gas type canisters? if its got any gas in it you will be able to hear it or feel it slosh around if you shake it.

There may well be something printed on the canister about dosposal or even a number for advise.

It's a Sigas one - 13kg - only number is up in Derbyshire miles away!

Our tip ( "recycling centre" these days :-) ) does take them.

Bluelady - 24 May 2007 08:38 - 15499 of 24230

Good morning everyone,

Spaceman, I was waiting for your response about the nurses. Does anyone want the sat nav they were using to find your place?

Stockbunny, look in your garden for the campers, they might have taken up squatters' rights in your garden.

JStratford - 24 May 2007 08:39 - 15500 of 24230

Take it to your local gas depot then.

KEAYDIAN - 24 May 2007 08:40 - 15501 of 24230

sniff sniff, can I smell gas?

KEAYDIAN - 24 May 2007 08:40 - 15502 of 24230

Morning all.

JStratford - 24 May 2007 08:41 - 15503 of 24230

I don't know I'll light a match and see if I can see any...

stockbunny - 24 May 2007 08:46 - 15504 of 24230

Local gas company would be the best idea but I have to ask son (with wheels) to do it - at work all week - so limited to weekends so the local dump it will have to be, lets face it if they can make money on it, they will take it! No local camping shops...nicked no doubt mind you 99% of whats dumped out back usually is!

BL - LOL on campers, they would have trouble garden 40 ft long, 25 ft wide or something like that anyway I think I'd see them ;>)

stockbunny - 24 May 2007 08:59 - 15505 of 24230

Danish and croissants people and some strawberry preserve and local honey...

JStratford - 24 May 2007 09:55 - 15506 of 24230

So which floor are we at in your express elevator Bunny? Or did you get out a while back?

stockbunny - 24 May 2007 10:20 - 15507 of 24230

I tend to close down day by day JS - margin wont take the potential of an index bet overnight. Creamed another 17 on a short today, running now up and down with it :>)

JStratford - 24 May 2007 10:27 - 15508 of 24230

Fair enough. I was just wondering if I needed to start telling everyone that I think the market will go up again to give it a push in the right direction :-)

stockbunny - 24 May 2007 10:39 - 15509 of 24230

LOL oh if only it were that simple ;>)

JStratford - 24 May 2007 10:43 - 15510 of 24230

Well it alway seems to go the opposite way to that which I hope it will. With the 6600 resistance level though, I think all I will say is that it will definitely move at least five points :-)

Spaceman - 24 May 2007 10:59 - 15511 of 24230

JS, you dont seem to understand the Concorde Method. I will have to did out the thread for you to study .....

JStratford - 24 May 2007 11:11 - 15512 of 24230

As ever Spacie, I am always willing to learn. Although I reckon I have become quite adept at predicting where the market will not go, so I really think I should be able to patent my own system.

stockbunny - 24 May 2007 14:15 - 15513 of 24230

Ahhh its driving me nuts!!!!!

OK what was the title of the song that went:

Take a look at my girlfriend, cos she's the only one I got,
Not much of a girlfriend, I never seem to get a lot,

1970's.....?????????
