LONDON (Dow Jones)--Concurrent Technologies reported Monday pretax profit for six months to 30 June of GBP502,540, from a pretax loss of GBP130,896 for the same period a year ago.

Michael Collins, Chairman, said: "This year has started well and our order book has reached record levels in the last few months. We are confident at this stage, that further progress will be achieved in the second half and that this progress will continue into 2006."

Just dropped in to see the comments, as I hold some shares myself. Things look good for 2006/7, as reported - I can't say any more, as I work there!!

Hang on like me, it could be a bumpy ride.

Disappointing response from 'the City' to results has not reflected the company's position. It has done well over the last 6 months, and is 'cash-rich' (4M in the bank), so ready to expand, or go for a takeover maybe?

Potential for growth is very good, and the share price has not yet caught up with the facts - in fact there has been a steady decline since the results were published! This is possibly due to the disposal of 1.5 million shares by a couple of the Directors, from their Pension Funds (to 'increase liquidity').

I expected a rise to around 34p. It could still happen....

Looks like things are happening at last - still hovering around maximum price levels. Order Books are full, but where are the 'new' products that were promised this year? Only one has been announced so far.

I expect Shares to fall soon, stay relatively low for a while, then rise again around Xmas/New Year on publication of the final report. Price could fall to about 32p on 'lack of interest', then rise to 36/37 later.

Keep an eye on them, and buy-in when they drop!

Nice little tick up today. Anyone got any ideas why?

nprg - 19 Mar 2007 12:10 - 20 of 24

maybe I've missed something in the results, but they seem very good. So why the drop? (Could it be the results weren't as good as expected?)

Jumpin - 19 Mar 2007 14:05 - 21 of 24

I sold mine at 46.5p a few weeks ago, might wait for the dust to settle a little and buy back in again!

Held this share for a wee while now. Had a search for news, Anybody know why the 25 % rise today?

nprg - 08 May 2007 11:46 - 23 of 24

It's been tipped in RHPS.

Many Thanks. 8-) Any ideas what they said?
