Now there's two possible comments I can make now... I can either go with the very laddish one which I will leave to your imagination or I can suggest that I was a poor young impressionable lad who had been led into 'those types' of clubs under false pretences. The again possible shutting up before Bunny bars me from her wonderful baking might be the best idea.

I was going to suggest we had fish for lunch, but having seen K. with the trout, I've gone right off the idea.

Socco is once again in full retirement.

His work clothes and battered briefcase have been consigned to the great office in the sky with due ceremony, held earlier today outside Chez Socco, adjacent to the wheelie bin park.

Socco wishes to express his delight at attaining this new status, quote "whoooopeeee".

Good morning one and all. Since this morning is the first day of the rest of my life, I decided to rise bright and early, brave the rain and make the tea. So here I am, breakfast all ready and waiting.
