From the latest company's drilling update....17 Feb
http://moneyam.uk-wire.com/cgi-bin/articles/200402170700084897V.html
Can anyone with mining knowledge explain these terms....
What does sidetracking mean? Approx how ong will that take?
Approx. how long will it take to correct a deviated section?
Is 'crude oil in shale samples' a good indication that there is oil?
Is 'Gas-bearing porous sands being logged' a good indication that there is gas?
Basically what does logging involve ?
Any views re AEX potential??
Regards
Stephen

I am expecting to see some positive broker reports in the near future and perhaps the market is getting wind of this? I also think technically that we'll see the price trading back in the 20-25p range before too long. All IMHO!

Nice to see the sp on its way up again, with lots of purchases. I hope this time we see new peak. Any one know of any reason, why it is going up? apart from the obvious oil price going...............up ........up but for how long I wonder?

I think you can expect to see a high oil price for a considerable time to come. I think it was a Goldman article I was reading a while back and they're expecting $85pb and spiking to $100pb for a brief period.

Hi All,
The rise could be because Brian Hall has recently returned from DPRK, and is probably talking to lots of analysts (brokers and others), and updating them on the state of DPRK's oil potential.
MM's are buying, which is always a good buy signal.
Also, seismic is planned for Tanzania in September, and DPRK could also see seismic at the same time.
USA production is being increased by adding new wells to proven oilfields.
Finally DPRK nuclear talks resume on 29th August, and maybe some expect them to conclude with an agreement being signed.
Cheers,
PM

What a great morning !!!
Expect a little turbulence whilst some folks take profits (after all it is up over 25% in the last couple of days) and then I hope that the upward trend will resume.
I am not expecting serious problems until 18p.

K Hi,
MM's are trying to force the price up, you can buy online(IWeb) but not sell any, this suggests to me, that the MM buys were there to create interest in this stock, and shift a pile for someone.
Long term it's still a winner, only the traders will lose out short term, if the MM's clear the pile and drop the price back.
Cheers,
PM

Agreed, not yet.
The buys are coming in thick and fast, and all even numbers which tells me that it isn't retail investors.
Not only does this one not move in straight lines, the MM's are dropping it without reason to spook a few sellers out. Notice the buyers are paying almost full price, while the sellers can get much better prices than those offered.

Paul What are you trying to say? I am confused, I placed an order to purchase 145000 @ 13.85 at about 11 AM, the order has not been taken up yet. Shall I cancell it ? Are you suggesting the price is going to fall? I am already up 51% on my original investment of 120000. Since it has broken the resistance at 12.50 I think it should rally up to 18p. Whats your openion?

Mrs L Hi,
What I am suggesting is that this rally is being run by the MM's not the buyers, you may well see your order filled, it depends how far the MM's are willing to push it.
Buyers are coming in as Adam says, but they only came in because the MM's created the interest in the stock, by pushing the price up. They can just as easily push it back down, when they have done whatever business triggered them to push the price up.
Buy and stay long, 2 years minimum for maximum gain, trading these at the moment could burn your fingers.
Cheers,
PM

Paul, I don't know what you're talking about, have you sold? There was plenty of buying and as such an illiquid stock the price movements are sensitive. I think AEX maybe about to present to brokers and the co may get written about in the share mags, then the buy orders will really flood in, what's happening at the moment is anticipation of more announcements and presentations and momentum is pushing it higher. Let's face it, at less than 20m cap, this share has a long way to rise.

Its a shame lafter looking at Pauls comments I cancelled my original order of 145000, and instead just bought 50000 only @ 17.70.

Good post on TMF:

The reason buyers are flooding in, is that AEX has been flagged up on a lot of people's screens by tripping lots of different signals. The MM's are playing games, but only to maximise their takings.

Hi All,
I am still 100% in AEX.
All I am saying is this is a long term stock for maximum gain. I also know that Edison Research were waiting for Brian Hall to come back from DPRK, so that he could review their note, and sign it of for release, that has not happened yet, and they are the only broker I know of that have a note on Aminex.
Lemminginvestor asked to speak with a company representative, but were snubbed, not even a reply to their e-mail, although Elric has asked again, and if they still ignore him, lemminginvestor will not do any research notes on Aminex.
I am sill 100% confident of my own research, and I won't pump 'n dump it, rather I will wait for the 2 years plus, and reap the maximum gain.
Cheers,
PM

Other brokers following AEX are Oriel and Davy, the UK and Irish brokers for the company.
Oriel did a note initiating coverage on 17 August with a buy.
