Balerboy

Precisely. I seem to remenber I got squelched for suggesting that RKH's costs of extraction per barrel would be substantial.

grannyboy - 11 Sep 2012 18:22 - 1613 of 2393

Chuckles if i wasn't abused or mocked in the first place by the likes of yourself and cynic and one or two other cohorts i would'nt have had to resort with like..

And i'm all up for a laugh but i'l leave the giggling to yourselves...

cynic - 11 Sep 2012 19:21 - 1614 of 2393

oh dear .... did the poor old woman get picked on unfairly? .... i think not

CortezTheKiller - 12 Sep 2012 02:08 - 1615 of 2393

I can't believe people are already talking on the assumption that the upper three targets have failed. We don't even know if the first target has failed because the results have not been released. They haven't even reached the Target Depth of the upper target alone.

Pro - "The only one left is Three Bears - by the time the crew change happened last Friday its unlikely they were into Three Bears, so thats an unknown." Actually, there're all unknown

CortezTheKiller - 12 Sep 2012 02:14 - 1616 of 2393

Although the RNS didn't have any bad news, it wasn't exactly trying to reassure us!!

More importantly, what clues can we pick up from the fact that they had to "run an additional string of casing in the top section of the well"????? Does that sound suspicious or not?

Proselenes - 12 Sep 2012 02:47 - 1617 of 2393

Cortez - My thoughts on this are now well clear - and I am not expecting anything commercial from Loligo - thats in my opinion.

There are some very interesting conclusions to be drawn from the drilling results - which I will go into only after the results are out - and I have purchased a lot at a low price on a duster (or purchased a top up on any good news - but not expecting that).

Proselenes - 12 Sep 2012 04:35 - 1618 of 2393

Loligo ? DUSTER !!!!!!!!!!! Aaaaarrgggghhhhhh

so after 1500 posts of pseudo-science purporting to prove that the kingpin of FOGL was a shoo-in certainty for finding oil, then gas (120% certain), suddenly all is sackcloth and ashes

Proselenes - 12 Sep 2012 06:22 - 1620 of 2393

cynic - nobody has ever claimed FOGL will find anything on this drill.

The speculation was purely over what it could be worth if they did - obviously if they do not then the Loligo prospect is worth nothing.

Thats quite simple to understand - unless you are an idiot.

You can keep going on all you like - do you honestly think anyone cares ? in particular me ? ;) LOL

cynic - 12 Sep 2012 06:37 - 1621 of 2393

i confess i could not be bothered to wade through your reams of "research", hard thugh assuredly you worked to put them together ..... however, your hypotheses sure gave the impression that Loligo was a red-hot certainty and indeed, i recollect picking up the customary abuse - not necessarily from you - when suggesting that the odds of finding anything were 5/1 at the very best, and probably longer.

i'm sure your wallet is hurting badly, even if you bought at an average of +/-50p, for you stubbornly resisted my own recommendation that you should take at least partial profits when sp was very considerably higher ...... your logic for not so doing was always faulty, as i propounded

Proselenes - 12 Sep 2012 06:58 - 1622 of 2393

cynic, I have considerable profits already - the question was would they have been raised by 3000% or lowered by 50%.

The end result, so far, is they were lowered by 50% - but still giving me 50%.

Had Loligo come in with a big strike I would have been looking at 3000%+ profits - not just 50%.

I am more than happy playing that game :)

chuckles - 12 Sep 2012 07:11 - 1623 of 2393

He's dumped

Proselenes - 12 Sep 2012 07:36 - 1624 of 2393

Yes, I regularly dump, particularly after a large bowl of bran.

markymar - 12 Sep 2012 07:37 - 1625 of 2393

Thats was what i said yesterday Chuckles the bloke is so false

I think the speed of this drill has caught everyone with their pants down
One thought of hope is that the SFB is made up of very hard rock’s hence BOR drill was well over due with problems with rig but drilling through the rock.

Looks like FOGL didn’t hit much rock!!!!

Maybe very soft sand and clay full of gas and hydrocarbons......just a thought.

Proselenes - 12 Sep 2012 07:51 - 1626 of 2393

The only blessing cynic, going forward - is that the drill was quick and trouble free.

BOR had terrible trouble with abnormal gas pressure - they were drilling in the Fold Belt - very high pressure area, lots of potential stringers and all sorts - bad place to drill and they found out.

FOGL were out drilling in the channels - well away from the nasty high pressure stuff that lost BOR so much time with their drilling.

So it bodes well for the next drill that there will be no issues with high pressure and drilling will be quick - on budget and not over running by tens of millions of dollars - like BOR.

Just need to hit something of value in a reservoir - the key - nuff said Sherlock.

required field - 12 Sep 2012 08:57 - 1627 of 2393

Right ...it might be a duster....but does anybody know for sure on here.....if they do...where does that information come from ?...

HARRYCAT - 12 Sep 2012 08:58 - 1628 of 2393

No they don't rf. All just speculation and trying to read between the lines in the RNS.

jbc - 12 Sep 2012 08:59 - 1629 of 2393

yes, it could be a big conspiracy to drive the price down. Lots of buyers still buying big.

Balerboy - 12 Sep 2012 09:01 - 1630 of 2393

Your guru dumped last week RF...... didn't he tell you?

required field - 12 Sep 2012 09:04 - 1631 of 2393
