Lambykins's Dutch Coffee House - ADULTS ONLY (LAMB)

Spaceman - 28 Jan 2005 23:56

CLOSED - THANKS to all customers for the last few years

stockbunny - 29 Jun 2007 09:04 - 16377 of 24230

Oh not a lot at all, it's just 3 years this one has lasted and that seems a tad too shorter life frankly! 5 years I'd put up with but 3....

Socrates - 29 Jun 2007 09:15 - 16378 of 24230

One is fine thank you Bluelady.

Bunny, 3 years is not bad for a cheapo kettle. When you consider that alongside what you spend on non-essentials like, food, clothing, internet etc., it's a bargain really.

Spaceman - 29 Jun 2007 09:22 - 16379 of 24230

Morning all, guess what......

Its raining in Hastings....

better have a cuppa.

Bunny our kettle stopped working last week but then it started working again, I have so far allowed the girlfriend believe that it started working becasue I fixed it but it fact i just turned it on an it worked !!!

stockbunny - 29 Jun 2007 09:22 - 16380 of 24230

True..I suppose....Socs
Bluelady - think Picaddilly tube is shut, all sounds a tad chaotic, no doubt more substantial news will come thru in a while today.

stockbunny - 29 Jun 2007 09:23 - 16381 of 24230

Morning Spacie - tried that several times but no joy, a replacement seems the only option.

optomistic - 29 Jun 2007 09:24 - 16382 of 24230

I'll go along with Socco on this one, three years is a pretty good life for a kettle. They have a lot of power surging through them many times a day..wears them out....I know/knew the feeling :-)

Spaceman - 29 Jun 2007 09:27 - 16383 of 24230

I am pleased that I am not in London today, been working in Strand for most of this week.

Socrates - 29 Jun 2007 09:27 - 16384 of 24230

Picaddilly? Isn't that some kind of yellow pickle stuff?

Bluelady - 29 Jun 2007 09:27 - 16385 of 24230

Good morning spaceman, clever you pretending to fix it.

Stockbunny, it will be interesting then if there are no tubes operating. Still could do with a looooong walk, not.

Did you fix your kettle a few times or just try and turn it on a few times?

Spaceman - 29 Jun 2007 09:29 - 16386 of 24230

Bluelady, I didnt even have to pretend she just said thanks for fixing it, I just failed to elaborate... ;-)

Bluelady - 29 Jun 2007 09:35 - 16387 of 24230

Even better Spaceman, although IF it fails to boil again in the next few weeks you might never live it down.

Bluelady - 29 Jun 2007 09:37 - 16388 of 24230

Optomistic are you in need of a massage then, not by me of course, lol?

optomistic - 29 Jun 2007 09:40 - 16389 of 24230

Now I'm sure you could do my feet Blue :-)

Bluelady - 29 Jun 2007 09:54 - 16390 of 24230

That's the spirit optomistic, it will do you wonders!!

optomistic - 29 Jun 2007 10:11 - 16391 of 24230

:-)))))

Bluelady - 29 Jun 2007 10:35 - 16392 of 24230

I wonder where all the others have gone optomistic?

KEAYDIAN - 29 Jun 2007 10:36 - 16393 of 24230

I'm over here.

Bluelady - 29 Jun 2007 10:38 - 16394 of 24230

Good morning Keaydian, lovely to see you so bright and early.

KEAYDIAN - 29 Jun 2007 10:40 - 16395 of 24230

Bluelady - 29 Jun 2007 10:40 - 16396 of 24230
