While i am still pretty negative on the outlook for loligo, as each day passes i am getting slightly less negative vibes.
I think a lot of the share price move was down to those who lost their nerve, because of CHAR, and the inevitable wobbles and doubts you always get before such an announcement is due.
More buys than sells. Big buys also. Share price pretty stable today so far.
Looking at the RNS, there wasnt any real info there to determine a positive or negative outlook.
All to play for !!!!!!! (said with a grimace)

Proselenes - "There are some very interesting conclusions to be drawn from the drilling results" THERE ARE NO RESULTS!!! I think I might stick with my original conviction

Looks like people are coming to their senses and buying back in because they realise they panicked and that there wasn't actually any bad news in the RNS.

Trading day Cortez.......... 3 days down was due 1 day up.
Whether in or out is a personal choice - could be a pump and dump before bad news - could be a leak of good open hole logging results..........
Nobody knows

They were going to poke into the Cretaceous at the bottom of this well.
So could be 3 Bears is good ?
Could be Cretaceous is good ?
Could be a pump and dump for II's to offload and shorts to get a higher entry point ?
All good fun though.

Falkland Oil Explorers Rise as Delayed Loligo Well Is Completed
By Brian Swint on September 12, 2012
Oil explorers operating off the Falkland Islands rose in London trading on speculation Falkland Oil & Gas Ltd. (FOGL) had completed its delayed Loligo well.
Falkland Oil, which is focused on the southern part of the islands, jumped as much as 24 percent, the most since April, while Borders & Southern Petroleum Plc (BOR) gained as much as 18 percent. Argos Resources Ltd. (ARG) climbed 9.4 percent.
Falkland Oil is clawing back gains after falling the most in two years on Sept. 10 following the delay at Loligo. The London-based company said at the time the well would reach targeted depth within 24 hours.
“Obviously there are rumors going around,” said Laura Loppacher, an analyst at Jefferies International Ltd. in London. “They should be logging the well results by now.”
Oil explorers are targeting 8.3 billion barrels in waters around the islands in the South Atlantic Ocean this year, three times the U.K.’s reserves. A spokesman for Falkland Oil couldn’t immediately comment on the share price, which was up 17 percent at 74 pence as of 12:52 p.m. in London.
Borders & Southern advanced 14 percent to 25 pence. Rockhopper Exploration Plc (RKH) and Desire Petroleum Plc (DES), which own licenses in waters north of the islands, were little changed.

Now cynic and his brother chuckles have no clue if bad or good news is coming - notice how quiet they all go.
When news comes they will claim to either be short or holding none on bad news - or claim to be holding longs if good news.
I by the way, regardless, have a long position.
