optomistic - 05 Jul 2007 07:57 - 16594 of 24230

Fine and breezy...........could rain later!

Bluelady - 05 Jul 2007 08:06 - 16595 of 24230

Good morning stockbunny and optomistic,

Sorry stockbunny I think I'll decline your warm and now probably cold toast and wait till a better offer comes along.

Bluelady - 05 Jul 2007 08:07 - 16596 of 24230

PS it's not raining but dull and grey here.

stockbunny - 05 Jul 2007 08:30 - 16597 of 24230

Quite understandable Bluie.....hope the sun reaches you shortly :>)

Bluelady - 05 Jul 2007 08:33 - 16598 of 24230

The sun has reached me but it has only broken through the grey/black clouds......probably for a moment judging just how many clouds are up there.

optomistic - 05 Jul 2007 08:35 - 16599 of 24230

I like clouds :-)

Bluelady - 05 Jul 2007 08:36 - 16600 of 24230

Why?

Socrates - 05 Jul 2007 08:59 - 16601 of 24230

Hello all, just been relaxing and watching the activity this morning. Seems most are concerned about the weather in some way or other so I researched and found that the official view is that we shall have weather all day today and probably tomorrow too.

Thanks for the concern about me and Bigfoot but he is just a big pussy cat really. I would just run around him, nipping his tail.

Market looking a bit depressed today, waiting for a rates announcement I suppose. What do you reckon then, up, down or no change?

Bluelady - 05 Jul 2007 09:06 - 16602 of 24230

Good morning Socrates,

In a word I think up, possible no change but definitely not down.

Or to put it more educatedly....The Bank of England should press ahead today with another rise in interest rates, pushing borrowing costs to a new six-year high, to ensure that the inflation target is met.

stockbunny - 05 Jul 2007 09:18 - 16603 of 24230

Up I think Socs

KEAYDIAN - 05 Jul 2007 09:41 - 16604 of 24230

zzzz zzzz zzzz

Socrates - 05 Jul 2007 09:44 - 16605 of 24230

I guess we will soon know, one way or another. Maybe we should have a Bank Rate party, nibbles and drinks etc.

Socrates - 05 Jul 2007 10:05 - 16606 of 24230

OK, I'll have a party on my own then. I'll start with a sherry trifle cocktail.

stockbunny - 05 Jul 2007 10:20 - 16607 of 24230

Sorry Socs - still busy here so back and forth.
Bit early for me yet, but I'll have a cuppa :>)

Socrates - 05 Jul 2007 10:34 - 16608 of 24230

Bunny, you must learn to multi-task like I do. Currently I am partying, writing a letter, monitoring my portfolio and writing a letter. I'll have a cuppa too please.

stockbunny - 05 Jul 2007 10:47 - 16609 of 24230

LOL Socs

Socrates - 05 Jul 2007 10:55 - 16610 of 24230

Odd that, I always understood that women were born natural multi-taskers. At least, that's what they are always telling their menfolk.

KEAYDIAN - 05 Jul 2007 10:57 - 16611 of 24230

Eh eh. I seem to of been strapped to my bed!

Is this Bluelady's punishment for my rugby fields comments to Socs yesterday.

Sowwy BL.
