VOG is presently drilling Well 104 in its West Medvezhye field, and expected to reach depth in 4 weeks from spud date of 30th June, that makes 27th July(this week).
Results of testing will be sometime mid/late August, with a positive outcome
it could be HUGH.
With estimates of 134BILLION cubic metres of GAS and 201 Million barrels of Gas
Condensate,it will be a Company Maker. The field is in the area of the largest gas field in the WORLD.
Other assets include Kemerkol in Kazakhstan, with C1 reserves of 8.7MBO
and C2 reserves of7.8MBO. Another acquistion is Tamdykol with potental
reserves of 34MBO, it also has interest in 2 blocks in the North Sea.
You can check it out on www.uk-wire.com, and its own site of www.victoriaoilandgas.com.
It has excellent management team led by Kevin Foo, who hopes to turn it into
a Mid Cap Company(500m+) in the not to distant future.
As i stated earlier in the post, Drilling is almost complete so it won't be long to Lift Off?
Well, Well worth checking out.

so long as you don't hold .... had these (not for a good while now) for quite some time and all i can say, is AVOID, like a good number of E&P companies (e.g. ELP, SEY, PCI) who can't deliver against intimated promises

Victoria Oil & Gas PLC

Victoria Oil & Gas Plc
3 September 2007
Operation Update on West Medvezhye Project, Russia
Victoria Oil & Gas Plc ('Victoria' or 'the Company') (AIM:VOG), the AIM-quoted
oil and gas company focused on the Former Soviet Union, today announces an
operational update on the testing of Well 103 at its wholly-owned West Medvezhye
gas and condensate project in Western Siberia, Russia.
Well 103 is located in the central part of the 1,224 square kilometre licence
area and is one of 26 prospects identified by independent reserve auditors. In
January 2007, the well was perforated and flowed at a rate of approximately 350
barrels per day of light oil. Natural flow was impaired by residual completion
fluid, which adversely affected results obtained during testing.
After extensive operations a total of 25 cubic metres of fluid was recovered
leaving approximately 20 cubic metres still remaining. A Pressure Build-Up (PBU)
test was then carried out over 15 days. The maximum registered pressure was 564
bar indicating that the reservoir is significantly over-pressured.
In order to displace the remaining completion fluid, the Company now plans to
circulate condensate into the wellbore. Regular flow is then expected to be
established, another PBU survey carried out and a bottom-hole sample taken, to
derive reliable reservoir parameters. These procedures should be completed in
the fourth quarter of this year.
The data provided from these tests will be analysed and submitted to the
Ministry of Natural Resources together with the calculation of recoverable
reserve volumes for the structure around Well 103. On approval of the data and
calculations, any recoverable reserves will be entered into the official record
of Russian State Reserves.
Tony Porter, Chief Executive Officer of Victoria, said today, 'Well 103 is the
first exploration well to be drilled to this depth on the block. The tests
conducted so far confirm the presence of hydrocarbons and significant reservoir
pressure in the target horizon, but the key parameter of permeability has not
yet been fully determined.'
Porter added, 'We have solved many significant technical and logistical problems
in designing the further tests and anticipate that the condensate flush and PBU
survey will give us the data we require for completing the evaluation of the
well, allowing us to submit our reserves calculations to the Ministry.'

Victoria Oil and Gas issue an ambiguous operations update
Tuesday, September 4, 2007, 07:59 AM
AIM listed Victoria Oil and Gas (VOG) today issued a somewhat ambiguous operations update that has had investors in discussion all day trying to determine how positive or negative the underlying message is.
The update concerns well 103, located in Siberia, Russia.
Since perforation in January 2007, the well has produced around 250 BOPD. The flow was impaired by residual fluid, around half of which has now been removed. A Pressure Build-Up (PBU) test was then carried out over 15 days. The maximum registered pressure was 564 bar indicating that the reservoir is significantly over-pressured. This significantly over-pressurised comment provided the first point of discussion.
The update confirmed that VOG plan to extract the remaining completion fluid, and establish a regular flow, and complete another PBU test to establish reliable reservoir parameters, by Q4 2007. The results will then be submitted to the Ministry of Natural Resources together with the calculation of recoverable reserve volumes for the structure around Well 103.
The update then continued with the statement On approval of the data and calculations, any recoverable reserves will be entered into the official record of Russian State Reserves, with the various interpretations of any recoverable reserves being the focus of more discussion amongst holders.
Tony Porter, Chief Executive Officer of VOG confirmed that "Well 103 is the first exploration well to be drilled to this depth on the block. The tests conducted so far confirm the presence of hydrocarbons and significant reservoir pressure in the target horizon, but the key parameter of permeability has not yet been fully determined.
