VOG is presently drilling Well 104 in its West Medvezhye field, and expected to reach depth in 4 weeks from spud date of 30th June, that makes 27th July(this week).
Results of testing will be sometime mid/late August, with a positive outcome
it could be HUGH.
With estimates of 134BILLION cubic metres of GAS and 201 Million barrels of Gas
Condensate,it will be a Company Maker. The field is in the area of the largest gas field in the WORLD.
Other assets include Kemerkol in Kazakhstan, with C1 reserves of 8.7MBO
and C2 reserves of7.8MBO. Another acquistion is Tamdykol with potental
reserves of 34MBO, it also has interest in 2 blocks in the North Sea.
You can check it out on www.uk-wire.com, and its own site of www.victoriaoilandgas.com.
It has excellent management team led by Kevin Foo, who hopes to turn it into
a Mid Cap Company(500m+) in the not to distant future.
As i stated earlier in the post, Drilling is almost complete so it won't be long to Lift Off?
Well, Well worth checking out.

Victoria Oil and Gas issue an ambiguous operations update
Tuesday, September 4, 2007, 07:59 AM
AIM listed Victoria Oil and Gas (VOG) today issued a somewhat ambiguous operations update that has had investors in discussion all day trying to determine how positive or negative the underlying message is.
The update concerns well 103, located in Siberia, Russia.
Since perforation in January 2007, the well has produced around 250 BOPD. The flow was impaired by residual fluid, around half of which has now been removed. A Pressure Build-Up (PBU) test was then carried out over 15 days. The maximum registered pressure was 564 bar indicating that the reservoir is significantly over-pressured. This significantly over-pressurised comment provided the first point of discussion.
The update confirmed that VOG plan to extract the remaining completion fluid, and establish a regular flow, and complete another PBU test to establish reliable reservoir parameters, by Q4 2007. The results will then be submitted to the Ministry of Natural Resources together with the calculation of recoverable reserve volumes for the structure around Well 103.
The update then continued with the statement On approval of the data and calculations, any recoverable reserves will be entered into the official record of Russian State Reserves, with the various interpretations of any recoverable reserves being the focus of more discussion amongst holders.
Tony Porter, Chief Executive Officer of VOG confirmed that "Well 103 is the first exploration well to be drilled to this depth on the block. The tests conducted so far confirm the presence of hydrocarbons and significant reservoir pressure in the target horizon, but the key parameter of permeability has not yet been fully determined.

Aim Release
10 September 2007
Victoria Oil & Gas Plc
Drilling Update at Kemerkol Oil Project, Kazakhstan
Victoria Oil & Gas Plc ('Victoria' or 'the Company'), (AIM:VOG), the oil and gas
company focused on the Former Soviet Union, today announces that it has
completed drilling of exploration Well 70 and has recommenced production from
Well 20 at its wholly-owned Kemerkol oil project in the Atyrau Oblast of
Kazakhstan.
Well 70 was drilled to a total depth of 763 metres to explore the south of the
license block close to a major east-west trending fault, up-dip of the well
location. The logging results indicated all potential reservoir sands in the
Jurassic and in the deeper Triassic to be water bearing and not hydrocarbon
productive.
The conversion of Well 45 into a water re-injection well has been completed and
Well 20 has been brought back into economic production. Using a progressive
cavity pump, this well is currently producing approximately 140 barrels per day
of fluid, of which 25 barrels per day is oil. With the installation of a larger
pump the Company reasonably believes that it can at least double oil production
from this well.
Having reprocessed the 3D seismic results using the physical data gathered from
the exploration and development drilling undertaken, the Company has re-
confirmed that the next exploration drilling location, Well 66, will be in the
eastern area of the license block at the top of an anticline structure.
Tony Porter, CEO of Victoria Oil & Gas, said today, 'So far our exploration
activities have centred on finding potentially hydrocarbon-bearing locations
sealed by fault lines running through the block. Well 66 is a different play
concept targeting an anticline rather than a fault and should be spudded in a
matter of days.'
Porter added, 'The completion of operations at Well 45 and 20 is positive news
and we will now look to maximise production from this location. Well 20 is
producing at a limited rate at present, but with more efficient extraction
through a larger pump on this well plus our existing test production at well 73,
we should see a significant increase in oil yield'.
