The Companys strategy is to utilise Ortacs highly experienced board and management team, together with its solid foothold in the Central European region, to consolidate additional exploration and development opportunities in the precious metal sector.
Having already acquired the necessary capital, the Company plans to update the resource, complete a scoping study and preliminary environmental and social impact assessments, and bring into production its initial asset, the Kremnica Gold Project in Slovakia.
The Company has identified several regional consolidation opportunities at various stages of development which are currently being evaluated to significantly increase Ortacs resource inventory and maximise shareholder value. Third party companies with advanced staged projects in the region which can be fast-tracked to achieve near term production are also being actively sought and evaluated.

As outlined in the RNS announcement of 18 April, the Company has commenced an exploration programme on its Kremnica Gold Project in Slovakia. This drilling campaign is targeting areas of the deposit where there is currently little or no information. Results from this, along with the additional geological and geotechnical data, should allow for an increase in the current JORC compliant resource of 1.1 million ounces of gold equivalent, in addition to upgrading additional ounces into higher confidence Indicated and Measured categories.

This exploration campaign is advancing and the Company will announce an update and preliminary results from this drilling when appropriate.

In addition to this drilling campaign, the Company's Scoping Study at Kremnica is also progressing well, and the Company expects to be able to announce the publication of this report in H2 2011.

Well here we are another day in paradise,watching waiting, avoiding ere indoors. Which reminds me of poor quasimodo stood in Notre Dame lamenting his deformed shape and his inability to woo Esmerelda. Nope. A drilling update from it's Slovakian project would be nice and would put investors at ease, but perhaps no news is good news?

beebusy - just seen your 172 - glad to see no hard feelings! lol - hope you are well apart from the otc sp currently!! i may top up again today - the only thing that is pretty certain is that news is due h2 as per last rns which should produce an upgrade -it better not be an xel repeat!!! had to take high risks when it tanked that day to recover my losses then trade to end up in profit again! that was pretty tough! but h2 news is due so could literally be anytime between now and end of june - and if the whisphers are correct i really would not want to be outta of otc when that rns arrives - could double or more in the blink of an eye

hc - news h2 is the only cerainty - today / next week week after but we are getting near hence my thoughts to topping up should fly off this sp level

keep an eye on sres too - yesterdays rns not the one wanted but a bonus - i dont think people realise the scope of that rns fully and it was unexpected - that stuff sells for avg 225t / tonne

Her indoors cottoned on just how much of the family fortune is riding on gold in them thar hills and we have now booked a trip on the Queen Mary 2 in July to keep the happy household on an even keel and to ensure I do not find foreign bodies in my tucker.
