Afternoon all,
Thanks for posting the Oilbarrel article SWW, made nice reading. I did like this part:
The support from the investors was tremendous, Wilson told oilbarrel.com. It was considerably oversubscribed and we have brought in about 15-20 new institutions as well as the continued support from our existing investors.
Nice to see us moving up a bit today.
I'm in Mickey's camp today, taking a beating on SIA. Still, not concerned with that as next year will be the big year there.
Prop, I think IG stopped taking online bets on ESY last week if that means anything. Having an ok day with AHT and NLR.

Yes.
PRE flipped up for a while again today only to drop back, seems ther is a consistant 50k seller there whe the price rises above 26p.
Rigging in the market pace?
Never!!!!

As US inventories are full now, the blowing up of several Iraqi wells and pipelines wion't have the same effect imho, but that could be why.

Gavdfc...cheers for the ESY info, must have somehow missed it. It must be quite unusual for that to happen or am i mistaken?

Prop, only started using IG a few months ago so not too sure if it is too unusual or not. I noticed that since i've had my account they only take phone bets for HNR and only late last week they started taking online bets for PRE.
Strangely enough, they've moved to call to trade on another 2 of my stocks last week, MPH and AHT. Also changed to call on SIA a few weeks ago. Don't think they were taking DES bets earlier but now they are.
Not sure of the significance of that though.

i know, but they were specific about ESY because they reached their limits. i totally agree about calling on stocks if there is a fast mkt but if they are covering their bets by calling the MM then why the bloody hell are they imposing limits??? just seems unusual to me unless they have some very high CFD exposure and that effects their firms overall exposure to the stock.
never noticed that ESY ansd SEY were vitually the name mneumonic...wierd but true....

Maybe they do have a lot of exposure on ESY so that's why they went to call. Did you manage to get any more? I also noticed that on FWY, they've always had call to trade and I do think they have a lot of exposure on that one with private investors.
If it helps, have just checked Fins and they also have call on ESY.
