I like the fact that all of the numbers seem to be pointing in the right direction. Also that current trading is strong, growing and ahead of the co's targets.

capa - 17 Apr 2007 16:07 - 20 of 45

Finance Director buying shares would seem to indicate that things are in pretty good shape with WGB.

Pension defecit being dealt with and gearing reduced, all good news.

A little concerned with those inflation figures today which point to further rate rises and the impact these may have on sales but on balance content to carry on holding.

soul traders - 17 Apr 2007 16:58 - 21 of 45

And a good finish, too: WGB Bid: 47.75p Offer: 48.75p Change: 2.5, 1.8 mil traded.

soul traders - 18 Apr 2007 11:08 - 22 of 45

Up again this morning, 309K traded. WGB Bid: 48.5p Offer: 50p Change: 1

Today's Independant had this as a "buy" after the good results, saying that the PE of 11 looked inexpensive and that published estimates of future growth looked "conservative" given the swing of fashions that has favoured WGB's products.

soul traders - 19 Apr 2007 20:58 - 23 of 45

Up again today: closed at 50p according to FT.com, having added 0.75p. 342K traded, which is down from the previous two days' volumes, but it could be that this still has a fair way to go. 30 mkt cap has now been reached, too. PE still barely more than 11.

Very nice rise today: WGB Bid: 51.5p Offer: 53p Change: 2.25 180K traded so far.

capa - 20 Apr 2007 10:20 - 26 of 45

Looking good for a breakout

capa

soul traders - 20 Apr 2007 10:26 - 27 of 45

looking good to breach its all-time high, too. It hit 53p in Jan; the highest offer price paid so far today is about 52.8.

PE still just under 12. Keep holding and run the prfi for as long as I have the nerve, is what I intend to do.

Contrast also the 1.5p spread with the 0.5p spread at the beginning of the week. I guess the MM's don't have as much stock as they did - wonder if a tree-shake might ensue.

soul traders - 20 Apr 2007 11:40 - 28 of 45

Positively on fire! WGB Bid: 52p Offer: 54p Change: 3; 258K traded

soul traders - 20 Apr 2007 11:54 - 29 of 45

This is better than the telly! WGB Bid: 53.5p Offer: 54.5p Change: 4, 304K traded.

It's mostly small trades, buys well over double sells.

soul traders - 20 Apr 2007 11:56 - 30 of 45

WGB Bid: 54.25p Offer: 55p Change: 4.75.

capa - 20 Apr 2007 11:58 - 31 of 45

Most things are better than day time telly, unless there a Columbo on.

Oh by the way, thats a breakout I reckon.

capa

soul traders - 20 Apr 2007 12:00 - 32 of 45

It most certainly is.

Let's have a nice chart:

Chart.aspx?Provider=EODIntra&Code=WGB&Si

soul traders - 20 Apr 2007 12:02 - 33 of 45

PE 12. Something like 14 or more ought to be on the cards, surely?

soul traders - 20 Apr 2007 12:07 - 34 of 45

Actually, this is the highest SP and PE in 6 years, so we are in uncharted territory.

soul traders - 20 Apr 2007 12:10 - 35 of 45

10K buy just went through at 55p. MM's have kicked the bid down, 30K sold at 53p.

WGB Bid: 53.5p Offer: 55p Change: 4.25

jmacroesus - 20 Apr 2007 17:42 - 36 of 45

A 'buy' in today's IC.
