Jubilee Platinum (JLP)

Sooner44 - 15 Apr 2005 08:31

Any holders out there - there's some buying going on.....

Pond Life - 21 Feb 2006 19:09 - 171 of 798

Looks good to me. Another prospect delivered by a company with a good track record. JLP looks better every day.

queen1 - 29 Mar 2006 13:04 - 172 of 798

JLP is looking perky today :-)

queen1 - 06 Apr 2006 13:19 - 173 of 798

JLP has been on a stunning run of late, including breaking through the psychological 1 barrier today. I hadn't posted as I didn't want to jinx it! But the news regarding the joint venture with Impala Platinum Holdings seems to have done it anyway. The sp has bombed on the news but I can't see why. Any thoughts?

Pond Life - 06 Apr 2006 14:49 - 174 of 798

Sell on the news? Clearly the deal was already in the price.

queen1 - 06 Apr 2006 19:39 - 175 of 798

I'm not convinced Pond Life. It would mean an awful lot of people knowing this was coming and an awful lot getting out again. And if the deal is any good, why get out at all? JLP is a major success story waiting to happen and today is just the latest chapter. I'm still baffled.

Pond Life - 06 Apr 2006 20:53 - 176 of 798

Reading on other threads, it would appear that some people are less than impressed with the deal. Others think that it is a good deal and will take time for it to sink in. We'll see, no doubt. Happy to continue holding.

Oakapples142 - 07 Apr 2006 07:47 - 177 of 798

I too read this as a good deal. It may be that many were awaiting an excuse/reason to take profits (which have been extensive). I am holding having got in at 40p its a long tyerm for me.

queen1 - 07 Apr 2006 09:15 - 178 of 798

I'm exactly the same Oakapples142. In at 38p and hoping to exit at 380p!!

Oakapples142 - 07 Apr 2006 09:32 - 179 of 798

We are on the way back "queen1" - could end the day at the magic 100p again. It is likely that many of those who sold yesterday have made even more profit by buying back in to-day. Good luck to them and us - I am of course awaiting 400p for my second tenbagger !!!

queen1 - 07 Apr 2006 12:50 - 180 of 798

Let's split the difference and settle for 390p! What was your first tenbagger by the way?

queen1 - 07 Apr 2006 13:08 - 181 of 798

Back down we go. 1 looking a long way off again, let alone 3.90!

KEAYDIAN - 07 Apr 2006 14:49 - 182 of 798

Ohh er.

queen1 - 07 Apr 2006 15:00 - 183 of 798

This is the most bizarre market I have ever seen. The selling on JLP is TOTALLY overdone. What is wrong with people? :-)

Oakapples142 - 07 Apr 2006 15:04 - 184 of 798

Hi queen1 - oh dear - wrong again - but we can wait. My 10 bagger was PDX bought Nov 2002 at 24p sold Oct 2005 at 247p. Bought in again and now down but I owe the company and have faith in the product.

queen1 - 07 Apr 2006 16:13 - 185 of 798

Well done Oakapples142. I've not had a tenbagger yet but have been blessed with a handful of five's - DFD, JKX & EDR (which I still hold).

Pond Life - 07 Apr 2006 23:26 - 186 of 798

More than anything I've managed to achieve. I would welcome a five bagger, let alone a ten bagger. JLP bagged for me on Wednesday - but I was debagged on Thursday! I can wait.

queen1 - 08 Apr 2006 11:09 - 187 of 798

It'll happen Pond Life - onwards & upwards!!

seawallwalker - 12 Apr 2006 08:40 - 188 of 798

I don't believe it!

Oh well, Rome wasn't built in a day.

hlyeo98 - 12 Apr 2006 10:34 - 189 of 798

More downturn today...why is that?

seawallwalker - 12 Apr 2006 10:53 - 190 of 798

I can only think too far too quickly...........

Plus the farm out was the trigger so we will propbably go where it should be now, but where is that?
