XEL has been touted around for quite a while now, but the market continues to stubbornly ignore ..... let's hope for a bit of life once they spud in mid/late august from memory, and PG, actually find some goo

I think XEL has been depressed recently because of BP and Bentley oil leak. I've had XEL on my watchlist for quite some time and if we see a recovery in the general market then i have no doubt i will be taking a substantial position ahead of the upcoming spud. Does anybody know a firm date for spudding? Certainly want to get in before such a time. Thank you.

No firm date yet berty, waiting for the rig contract signing news.

certainly not impossible, and i believe the odds on a commercial find are quite short

Broker pre-drill target price is over 120p, and we might be getting closer to that level as spudding gets nearer.

Bentley success could be worth 300p to 800p a share, and with a 70% CoS the SP should, IMO, be higher as drilling starts.

a reality check .... 125 is the current all-time high ..... pretty good chance of that being breached for sure, but thoroughly agree with RF

It might be taken over before development, ....just the sort of little oil company that would fit the bill for some big boys.
