Afternoon all,its a bit late i know, but i have been trying to sell brjk for 60 pence each both holding ,as i want to dabble with 6 others, small amounts in each,,any tea in the pot.

proptrade - 16 Nov 2004 15:47 - 1789 of 7811

just had a double espresso to keep me awake. pissed off with ESY, down on no volume and no reason. staked a fair chunk on momentum continuing from yesterday.

Once this silly bollocks inflation fear in out the way after these producer numbers then we can refocus on telcoms and the fact that they are coming back up the old cycle. check out the moves in VOD, BT and the rises in CTM and THUS. all inching forward and with all types back in flavour ESY is back to a quid.

bit of a rant on the wrong thread...sorry

Has anyone tried the free download from Sharescope. Well free untill the end of the month. I'm never sure how usefull these things are. OK it's full of detail but so is most of you guys out there. Don't know what it costs but it's bound to be expensive. Don't think I'll bother.

Mickey

several of the day traders in the traders room swear by it - personally tried the demo a while back and found it had little use to me but that was just my view - if you are interested may be worth asking the question in the traders room

MICKEY - me old mate !!! (have been following this thread for so long, i feel I know you well). If you are thinking three to six months, DAG is worth a look.

daves dazzlers - 17 Nov 2004 07:48 - 1802 of 7811

SW,going to my local store today,to hand out some free advice.

SW i have a true story about sbry ,but its not for the bb.

hilary - 17 Nov 2004 08:35 - 1803 of 7811

MickeyS,

Are you referring to eod or rt, SS?

I use eod myself and it is very good. It suits my trading style. The traders who use the rt version tend to be intraday scalpers of large caps.

proptrade - 17 Nov 2004 09:29 - 1804 of 7811

morning all....

DD, whats the story???

seawallwalker - 17 Nov 2004 10:47 - 1805 of 7811

I bailed PRE early this morning, lost a packet overnight, but still up 1k overall.

Lucky or what?

One word "Inconclusive" was enough for me.

PRE now have 2 good finds in Bolivia, already in the price and a turn of the card at the Danbury Dome.

I may go in again but it would need to be much cheaper and probably before the Dome results.

When it comes to 50/50, I don't want too much tied up in a Company.

Last week some poor soles were buying PRE at 35p. What with that and the previous big fall, makes me wonder about the Management Team and the amount of possible spin they use.

What do you think prop?

I only hold SEY.

proptrade - 17 Nov 2004 11:06 - 1806 of 7811

I have never been a fan of PRE. i was about the only guy on the desk (Smith New Court) who was not a holder about 8 years ago when they collapsed from 90p. i just remeber at the time really really not fancying this stock.

as far as i am concerned not a whole lot has changed...same partners/alliances/management and unstable political drilling. honestly i wish existing holders luck but it just isn't for me.
