dreamcatcher - 23 May 2011 17:32 - 1805 of 3002

My average is 3.40 (cough) I need them to go up. What in the short term is going to stop this fall.

Balerboy - 23 May 2011 17:34 - 1806 of 3002

mines 1.72 :))

skinny - 23 May 2011 17:35 - 1807 of 3002

dreamcatcher - do you not use any form of money management / stop losses etc?

dreamcatcher - 23 May 2011 17:38 - 1808 of 3002

I will swap . I only have 3k worth sold my other 9k at 3 . Who would of predicted this.

dreamcatcher - 23 May 2011 17:44 - 1809 of 3002

Skinny - No I don't use stop losses. I just ride with the share. If you do your homework
and invest in a company it should come right. We have just been through a horrible couple of months.

cynic - 23 May 2011 17:55 - 1810 of 3002

i agree with you about stop-losses but for slightly different reasons ...... unless your s/l is guaranteed, if sp plummets then the level you set will not influence but you will be stopped out at that "horrid" level ...... secondly, volatile shares are exactly that and can spike down spitefully, with the result of the first scenario, but promptly recover, leaving you gnashing your teeth in frustration

halifax - 23 May 2011 18:05 - 1811 of 3002

cynic you can move the stop if you want to.

dreamcatcher - 23 May 2011 18:08 - 1812 of 3002

Can I mention rrl, look at the tree shakes over the last couple of weeks. The share has been deliberately driven down. Otherwise you are just mugged by the mms with
stop - losses and don't they love that. Its really about what suits you.

dreamcatcher - 23 May 2011 18:28 - 1813 of 3002

When you have faith in a share and think its going to go all the way. The last thing I need is to get home from work and its been robbed off me. Stop - losses are not for me. Just my opinion.
