SW,going to my local store today,to hand out some free advice.

SW i have a true story about sbry ,but its not for the bb.

MickeyS,

Are you referring to eod or rt, SS?

I use eod myself and it is very good. It suits my trading style. The traders who use the rt version tend to be intraday scalpers of large caps.

proptrade - 17 Nov 2004 09:29 - 1804 of 7811

morning all....

DD, whats the story???

seawallwalker - 17 Nov 2004 10:47 - 1805 of 7811

I bailed PRE early this morning, lost a packet overnight, but still up 1k overall.

Lucky or what?

One word "Inconclusive" was enough for me.

PRE now have 2 good finds in Bolivia, already in the price and a turn of the card at the Danbury Dome.

I may go in again but it would need to be much cheaper and probably before the Dome results.

When it comes to 50/50, I don't want too much tied up in a Company.

Last week some poor soles were buying PRE at 35p. What with that and the previous big fall, makes me wonder about the Management Team and the amount of possible spin they use.

What do you think prop?

I only hold SEY.

proptrade - 17 Nov 2004 11:06 - 1806 of 7811

I have never been a fan of PRE. i was about the only guy on the desk (Smith New Court) who was not a holder about 8 years ago when they collapsed from 90p. i just remeber at the time really really not fancying this stock.

as far as i am concerned not a whole lot has changed...same partners/alliances/management and unstable political drilling. honestly i wish existing holders luck but it just isn't for me.

seawallwalker - 17 Nov 2004 11:16 - 1807 of 7811

Candid comments on PRE.

I am probably very wrong, but the language used has made the price fall dramatically today(I call, 10% dramatic), what's behind the words?

Whatever they will have to drill a new well to have a hope to declare it commercial imo.

Danbury Dome may prove to be a biggy I reckon a result soon.

If it is, I may jump onto the momentum for a short ride up.

Till then, I am out.

proptrade - 17 Nov 2004 11:23 - 1808 of 7811

fair play SWW, nothing wrong with a short term punt but i would not be a HOLDER as i am in SEY. huge difference in prosepects and even bigger difference in outlook.

seawallwalker - 17 Nov 2004 11:32 - 1809 of 7811

I agree with you prop of course.(SEY prospects).

Dawned on me that they can now be sitting on the side lines as Tiof4 firms up and any others from the drilling campaign plus those that have already happened, i'e Tevet and Pelican, and get in with the Mauri Gov't as and when fields are declared commercial.

That way they can cherry pick and have no financial involvement with failed dry holes.

Harry W is without doubt hoping that will be the final outcome of this big deal. If it is realistic, and we should get a clue from the EGM, then the deal really is company transforming.

That is good value.

I would buy more but draw away from all my eggs in the one basket.

Nice and tasty they may be!

willfagg - 17 Nov 2004 11:48 - 1810 of 7811

SEY dipped below 18p Buy. If I am right there will be asupport level which should kick in . (I think they start to look cheap below 18p)

proptrade - 17 Nov 2004 12:00 - 1811 of 7811

there are bets and there are investments. i feel SEY is the latter. terms such as company transforming bode well for us all.

i stil maintain that a bit of good news could be the signal for a takeover by one of the majors....enjoyable and exciting prospects!

mickeyskint - 17 Nov 2004 12:01 - 1812 of 7811

Took the bull by the horns and topped up at 17.87. Now we'll just have to wait and see what happens. Still got a few bob left though. Want to keep a bit of cash ready to jump on the PET wagon.

Commiserations to all you PRE boys. LOL

Any other holder of bprg on team sey,,,,,,,have you seen the price,,,,,,very tempted again ??

seawallwalker - 17 Nov 2004 14:07 - 1819 of 7811

Didn't you just unload them? brjk!!

seawallwalker - 17 Nov 2004 14:10 - 1820 of 7811

brjk - buy in at 55p. That may not come this week but therer is not much on the horizon for them so you need the bottom to make a profit at the top.

Judging by what happened with them recently, you may have to wait for the 66p again.

All imho, etc...doo dah doo dah dey
