Rockhopper was established in 2004 with a strategy to invest in and undertake an offshore oil exploration programme in the North Falkland Basin. It was floated on AIM in August 2005. Rockhopper was the first company to make a commercial oil discovery in the Falklands. Today Rockhopper is the largest acreage holder in the North Falkland Basin, with interests in the Greater Mediterranean region.

greekman the next news will be oil quality news. It might please some and might put 10% on the price, but thats about all.
Flow test Sea Lion should add 100%.
The flow test will also allow them to "resize" the find and working with that data we might get another "upgrade" to the recoverable figure..... that should add lots more too depending on the news.
If flow test is good and size is upgrade there is no reason not to see 150% to 200% from todays levels....... and that is ignoring Ernest and the other prospects too.
So much upside to come.
Remember, most people here were screaming sell at 90p and 130p and 180p and 230p......
They were all wrong, I have been correct so far.
Lets see if that continues :)

PS, my target is 900p end of year if Ernest is a success as well.
:)
On to the FTSE 250 goes RKH, and in piles the ISA and big institutional monies....... (the ones who are not allowed to buy AIM listed stocks, but can buy FTSE main market ones :)

not sure why this current handbagging, but i am more than happy to be o'weight in AFR even though it has been disappointingly dull for the last couple of months
to my mind, the falklands stocks are somewhat emotionally driven at the moment, though we kbnow for certain that RKH has found some decent oil, and perhaps an awful lot of it .... in the immediate future, the sp's course will be quite heavily influenced by the success or otherwise of its sisters and cousins

very very quiet here today, with sp continuing to drift very slightly ..... i would like to think it is just residual profit-taking before next weeks' budget rather than the start of an extended period of somnolence ..... something positive from FOGL would certainly sharpen things up, even though that well has little relevance either way

cynic, a broken clock is right twice per day.
BB (who I have on squelch so I no longer have to read or see the nonsense posted) was screaming sell RKH at 90p and how bad it was and how overvalued.
This person (and another) has scream sell and overvalued all the way up.
They have been wrong, embarrassingly so, and still cannot just accept how wrong they have been.....
Never mind....... :)
