cynic
14.5no
people at noor know info we dont know.new board of very influencial people.noor is in it for big money and to gain access to russia.
i made 155% on vog when it jumped to 250p. then i bought at 15p and sold 31p and bought again at 26p.with high targets.
when you do business in russia, its not about the company name but who knows who, where you from and it looks like vog's board is liked by russian officals.
yes, vog does have bad reputation which will be repaired.latest news was great, that why some brokers are setting high targets

scotinvestor - 03 Apr 2008 00:41 - 1832 of 2511

JES, KUZEMKO

i thought u would be relaxing on a beach by now sipping a cocktail.....wish i made lots in short space of time....thats 2 big hits in about 2 or 3 years in same company....impressive

scotinvestor - 03 Apr 2008 00:45 - 1833 of 2511

kuzemko

why did u sell at 31p and then buy in at 26p? was it cos of news news with authorities.

what price u thinking of selling at if sp rockets a bit?

WOODIE - 03 Apr 2008 07:34 - 1834 of 2511

kuzemko why not post the broker note stating a price target of 1.45?

hlyeo98 - 03 Apr 2008 07:47 - 1835 of 2511

Yes, it is a number he pick from the sky...

cynic - 03 Apr 2008 08:01 - 1836 of 2511

another clever chap who also managed to sell at the very top ...... amazed he did not post at that time and suggest it was time for all to bail out.

by the way, VOG does not operate in russia?
i don't think the kazhaks would much like being told they were still part of that empire .... perhaps borat could enlighten us further!

kuzemko - 03 Apr 2008 08:58 - 1837 of 2511

1-just got back from beach holiday
2-i bought at 26p cos i thing it has legs
3-i never pick numbers from sky. i calculate what i'm willing to lose before i aim for sky
cynic-learn history. i deal with russians and borats and know who runs the show.it sounds like you the one being clever. perhaps i should show you my records.
for all of us lets hope vog has very strong legs

halifax - 03 Apr 2008 09:09 - 1838 of 2511

Cynic VOG's last RNS states their oil concession is in Russia?

cynic - 03 Apr 2008 09:11 - 1839 of 2511

wish i was clever, then i could live in the style to which i would like to be accustomed without overspending.

anyway, if you think 1.45 is achievable by VOG in your lifetime, then go for it.
for myself, shall not invest again here in a hurry, except perhaps as a quick turn, per the last couple of days

kuzemko - 03 Apr 2008 11:38 - 1840 of 2511

hi cynic,
i only said 145p its what i read.however, when vog was around 80p-100p more brokers rate vog buy with 150p+.
my personal reason for buying again at 26p long term.- is why would someone buy almost 30% in high risk, bad reputation??? usually it =high rewards.noor must have a plan and strategy for vog to be turned around.i think vog was badly managed before.they could of buy sey,eo.-instead they bought vog. why???
i be happy if vog manages tturn around and little improvments.

cynic - 03 Apr 2008 11:43 - 1841 of 2511

the managers don't find the oil/gas ...... even the most successful companies rarely have a strike rate >20%, and that is worth remembering

kuzemko - 03 Apr 2008 14:09 - 1842 of 2511

valid point, but to find oil or anything for this matter managers must have and provide a company with right tools. future will show if my reasons for this investment are correct.

kuzemko - 03 Apr 2008 22:50 - 1843 of 2511

any idea about the 750k buy at 30.75p???

skyhigh - 04 Apr 2008 18:56 - 1844 of 2511

This from today's Peter Shearlock's top picks rec'd today
Nothing new but it summarises it nicely:

VOG jumps on Russian licence news

At a time when the likes of BP are finding it hard keeping the Russian authorities on side, Victoria Oil & Gas has received confirmation from the appropriate department that it has complied with the minimum licence requirements on the big West Medvezhye field. This should pave the way for a production licence in respect of Well 103, which is sitting on at least 14 million barrels of oil and oil equivalents. There is no news on when the next well, Well 105, will be drilled, however. The precise location will not be chosen until new shareholders, Blackwatch Petroleum Services and GeoDynamics Research, have evaluated all the data and assessed the application of new seismic technology.

The announcement was enough to push the shares up by nearly a half - to 29p - though they subsequently fell back to 24.75p. That is encouraging, but it still leaves us with a long way to go to recoup the 162.5p recommendation price from January 2006. But if you are still in, stay in.

scotinvestor - 08 Apr 2008 14:49 - 1845 of 2511

price is almost back to where it was last week when i informed on news on this thread about russian authorities....it was 22p when i typed that....so only 22.75p now.

as usual the herd jumped in......i never got caught this time unlike in past with vog

scotinvestor - 10 Apr 2008 09:55 - 1846 of 2511

this is now back where it was pre-last news.....huh

Falcothou - 10 Apr 2008 13:33 - 1847 of 2511

Crazy scotinvestor! I bought in after your tip off at 21 and ended up selling at 26 as it was dropping. Will probably buy in again at 19 though I may need my head attending too

hlyeo98 - 10 Apr 2008 20:28 - 1848 of 2511

Do you think VOG really have the reserves? If they have, I can't see why it is falling back. Dodgy!

Falcothou - 10 Apr 2008 20:57 - 1849 of 2511

VOG not for once, shares mag's most stock on loan, after topping the leaderboard for many months.

ateeq180 - 15 Apr 2008 11:20 - 1850 of 2511

drifting lower day by day, could be a good buying oppertunity.
