Chart.aspx?Provider=EODIntra&Code=BLNX&S

With video search set to be the next big growth area BLNX have the software the likes of Microsoft, Google and NewsCorp would love to have.

In fact BLNX have done deals with most of these, the most recent being the UtargetFox deal which has been reported in the USA but not RNS'd in the UK.

Alexa rankings confirm the continued growth in usage as its viral effect spreads:-

The ITN RNS confirms blnx is the best in the market and is growing fast:-

Leading News Organization ITN Extends Advertising Deal with blinkx Based on Proven Campaign Success

blinkx Selected to Power Advertising across ITN Website and Syndication Partner Sites

SAN FRANCISCO, CALIF. - July 2, 2008 - blinkx, the world's largest and most advanced video search engine, today announced that it has won an extension contract that will augment the scope of its advertising partnership with ITN, one of the world's leading news and multimedia content companies. Under the terms of the new agreement, ITN will use AdHoc, blinkx's patented contextual advertising platform for online TV and video, to serve advertisements on the ITN website and its syndication partner sites, including Bebo.

Through AdHoc, ITN has already been effectively monetizing its premium news content on the blinkx.com network for over six months. During this time, ITN achieved a significantly better return, greater search volume, and higher monetization through blinkx than through other syndication partners.

AdHoc uses blinkx's patented speech-to-text transcription and visual analysis technology to understand video content more thoroughly and effectively than any other service today, and can therefore dynamically place the most pertinent advertising against it. The AdHoc platform offers media companies and advertisers a unique value proposition -- video advertising which combines the emotive power of TV promotion, with the relevance and utility of contextual search advertising.

The confluence of ITN's premium TV content, blinkx's extensive syndication network, and AdHoc's uniquely powerful targeting capabilities was a formula for success. By extending its partnership with blinkx, ITN aims to achieve similar returns by leveraging the AdHoc platform to deliver contextually relevant video advertising on its own website and across its distribution partner sites.

'We're thrilled to be broadening our relationship with ITN,' said Suranga Chandratillake, founder and CEO of blinkx. 'News content is one of the most popular categories of online video and there's clearly a tremendous opportunity for monetization. The success of our partnership with ITN is evidence that the blinkx AdHoc platform is a uniquely powerful solution for online video advertising today.'

'We've been delighted with the results of our partnership with blinkx and are looking forward to implementing the AdHoc technology on our site,' said Nicholas Wheeler, managing director, ITN On. 'blinkx AdHoc has proven that it can achieve significant monetization of our content, effective marketing for advertisers and, most importantly, a useful, non-disruptive experience for our audience.'

As a pioneer in video search technology, blinkx has built a reputation as the most effective way to search new forms of online content such as video. With more than 350 partners and 26 million hours of indexed video and audio content, including favorite TV moments, news clips, short documentaries, music videos, video blogs and more, blinkx uses advanced speech recognition technology to deliver results that are more accurate and reliable than standard metadata-based keyword searches.

Gausie - 07 Aug 2010 08:20 - 1846 of 6187

Tabby - Love the conspiracy theory, and I see it's now deepening as you string assumptions together and then, with fanfare, state a conclusion that is completely opposite to where the assumptions really lead. Your mind should be the subject of a research project into paranoia. I'd offer the grant.

My guess is that cynic will probably set you straight on what happened to Clubby.

But then, maybe he's in on it too?

tabasco - 07 Aug 2010 08:51 - 1847 of 6187

No go....never mind....

cynic - 07 Aug 2010 09:01 - 1848 of 6187

i don't actually know "what happened to clubby" as i was in transit from hamburg during yesterday ..... for sure clubby can be a total ass and i suspect (hope!) he doesn't actually believe some of the more preposterous nonsense he spouts - it's certainly not worth rising to anyway (world's biggest pillock ITLB should learn that lesson!) ..... i suppose some of more sheltered disposition can choose to take offense at what clubby writes on occasion - more fool them, but for general harmony i dare say it wouldn't hurt for him to temper his pen just a little, though not too much i sincerely hope ....

imo, clubby is a serious loss to this board, as we need characters who offer entertainment even when "in the best possible taste"

i hope ian/gausie (whoever) will hold out the olive branch to clubby and that he will not be too stiff-necked to accept it

cynic - 07 Aug 2010 09:06 - 1852 of 6187

tabasco - 07 Aug 2010 09:17 - 1853 of 6187

aldwickk - 07 Aug 2010 09:20 - 1854 of 6187

Am thinking of writing a sit/com about this thread

cynic - 07 Aug 2010 09:20 - 1855 of 6187

unlike you, i either ignore clubby's sillier comments or just tell him not to be such an arsehole .... however, i think you may be rambling on about Gausie, whose posts i rarely read as they do not look interesting .... you too should learn to ignore (disdain) unless you intend to enlist in ITLB's band of rabid crusaders

tabasco - 07 Aug 2010 09:28 - 1856 of 6187

Dadthat is just what my wife saysIll give it a go.she has just made me a nice cup of coffee and a baguettefcuk Gausieignore the scammer. Cheers matedo you still hold blnx...next week will be good my friend.....that is my last word until monday...

Gausie - 07 Aug 2010 09:35 - 1858 of 6187

Cynic - Clubby mentioned he mailed you. (MAM Messenger)

cynic - 07 Aug 2010 09:42 - 1859 of 6187

i also have his his private e-mail address and have been keeping him posted - i.e. i have c+p'ed some of my posts here and also your one to clubby last evening

i have no idea what all this silliness is about, but assuredly silliness in one form or another it certainly is ..... i cannot believe that clubby really deserved to be banished when some other rabid buffoons can continue to post, albeit just confined to a single thread ..... their's not to reason why etc etc

aldwickk - 07 Aug 2010 15:32 - 1860 of 6187

Cynic

Maybe Gausie is a valued client 0f Moneyam or has a funny handshake wink , wink ,no what i mean ...... lol

cynic - 07 Aug 2010 15:49 - 1861 of 6187

fully paid up member perhaps lol

ptholden - 07 Aug 2010 16:17 - 1862 of 6187

Tabasco, squelch away, it matters not. By the way, I'm very aware that your spat with Gausie started as all your spats do, criticism of your posts, some of which were very arrogant, some misinformed and some downright rude. You then took it upon yourself to post personal information which you were selected to receive. I don't think you should be too surprised by the manner in which Gausie posts towards you. Mea culpa? Kiss kiss

Chris Carson - 07 Aug 2010 16:59 - 1863 of 6187

Tabby - IMHO and FWIW you are your own worst enemy because you allow certain people, who know exactly how to and exploit it to the maximum methods to wind you up. Don't, end of story, full stop. I admire your faith in BLINX and you have traded it magnificently, long may it continue.

However, you have to step back just now and again and accept that other people do exist and that perhaps don't share your view that all traders are bastards, maybe have the opinion that buy and hold, never sell under any circumstances is not healthy. May even suggest that to do so would be akin to a boxer going into the ring with one hand tied behind his back, he can attack but has no defense, or he can defend but has no attack, think about it!

At the end of the day mate by all means be true to yourself, but don't preach. If someone upsets you post a big :O))) and reply does this look like the face of concern! xxxx

cynic - 07 Aug 2010 17:12 - 1864 of 6187

bit verbose, but quite! ..... amazed tabby hasn't laid into me then as a pretty short term INVESTOR!

nobody here can explain the difference between an investor, a trader and a speculator ..... that's because there is no difference!
