Another beaten up oil junior starting to bounce (CHAR)

kate bates - 02 Apr 2009 13:29

Don't like doing threads but have been alerted to this one as it trades well below cash position and allegedly has directorate links with the massive Petrobas. Last broker target was something like 165p - currently 26! The bates is in.

HARRYCAT - 10 May 2010 14:08 - 190 of 474

Maybe too late, or was that just a blatant ramp? ;o)

mitzy - 10 May 2010 14:10 - 191 of 474

lol..

cynic - 10 May 2010 15:47 - 192 of 474

at least RKH and DES have logic behind them, but this stock i just watch in stunned amazement

mitzy - 10 May 2010 16:26 - 193 of 474

112p.....

mitzy - 12 May 2010 11:25 - 194 of 474

Perhaps the most under-rated share in the market today.

cynic - 12 May 2010 11:29 - 195 of 474

EXCEPT no one has managed to explain at all why the damn thing should be rising in the first place! ...... so come on mitzy, enlighten us all

halifax - 12 May 2010 11:48 - 196 of 474

cynic Citigroup Global Markets and others have been hoovering up shares in a thin market.

cynic - 12 May 2010 11:51 - 197 of 474

but do you know of a good reason why?
CGM's actions may be very beneficial for sp (for now), but it does not necessarily follow that they have useful inside knowledge

halifax - 12 May 2010 12:16 - 198 of 474

cynic suggest you visit their website all the information is there concerning their plans to accelerate oil production, draw your own conclusions.

cynic - 12 May 2010 12:28 - 199 of 474

i know i'm not very good at reading, which i'm sure you will now confirm, but as far as i can determine, these guys don't even anticipate drilling until october this year, let alone accelerate oil production .... that said, i grant you that the prospects off Namibia look good, but that doesn't stop dud wells; ask DES!

halifax - 12 May 2010 12:32 - 200 of 474

cynic perhaps they are looking for more major partners, Petrobas appear to be involved already.

cynic - 12 May 2010 12:34 - 201 of 474

Petrobras are indeed a farm-in partner

mitzy - 12 May 2010 16:38 - 202 of 474

Strong finish.

cynic - 12 May 2010 16:41 - 203 of 474

some funny numbers showing at the close - e.g. see RKH

HARRYCAT - 12 May 2010 16:41 - 204 of 474

Hmmm... Fair to middling again! ;o)

required field - 12 May 2010 20:41 - 205 of 474

Incredible rise...perhaps the reason is because people see this as a mirror image of the Falklands.....but then again TLW and others have blocks in this part of the world...not in...wish I was but ....

mitzy - 12 May 2010 20:53 - 206 of 474

These could go 150p imo.

cynic - 12 May 2010 21:23 - 207 of 474

happier to stay with TLW .... at least it's a real company and has just had a significant upgrade note ..... CHAR still looks to me like an indian rope trick

required field - 12 May 2010 23:52 - 208 of 474

Mitzy has the "midas touch" at the moment.....

hlyeo98 - 13 May 2010 00:33 - 209 of 474

Sweet CHAR...didn't I say it will get stronger day by day.

BUY!
