Recommended as a sell and maybe buy back in the autumn in Shares Magazine. Seems to be going up nicely on fairly large volumes ahead of interims on Wednesday (18.8.04). Does anybody know much about this company??

no interest in this share but i can see dil and queeny getting it on if they ever meet. i mean , it's so obvious!! it's like jennifer lopez and george clooney in "out of sight", like clarke gable and vivien leigh, and like james bond and pussy galore.... so obviously gagging for it and each other!! all imho on this dull day at work.....

And still no movement in the price.

I started this IQE thread but the glorious, fab Suehelen decided mine was not good enough at started one of her own. I'm not bovvered, does this face look bothered. Worth it just to go back and some of foreplay between Dil and Queeny.

watch this one....trading update results due... will double in next 3months (imho)

why did suehelen set up a new iqe thread, fully aware this one was running, now claims she brought this one to investors attention and a 10% rise, will she/he ever stop. just read the posts and make up your own mind.

LONDON (AFX) - IQE PLC said the business climate in its markets is continuing to improve and it expects to report a 37 pct surge in full-year sales and more than halve its EBITDA loss to 3.8 mln stg from 8.1 mln a year earlier.

In a separate statement, the supplier of customised wafers said its unit IQE Silicon has signed a five year outsource contract with a major US based chip manufacturer which is starting this month and is expected to be worth at least 2 mln usd to the group during the current financial year.

Chief executive Drew Nelson said: 'Overall, the board is confident that substantially increasing revenues, coupled with the strong operational gearing of the business, improving visibility and adequate cash resources, will result in significantly improved shareholder returns over the next few years'.

did anybody pick iqe to which i brought to peoples attention at 6.2p. SH then hijacked the thread and posted endless posts that bored the pants off me, she/he/it then started up his/her/its own thread to steel the glory

other posters - when i first posted it was 6.2p nearly doubled SO FAR IF thats not flying i dont know what is!

I am a little disappointed that IQE isn't out of the 10/11p range by now with the news we had on the 27 Jan 06. Does any body share my view?
