Those that sell or have sold will regret it !....

Required Field, you're forgetting very quickly that this was marked down already about 25-30% from the flash crash last week. I've no idea what the market will make of the news today but it seems inclined to fall further, but early in the day. I always said gas wouldn't be well received but of course proramper termed me a muppet for saying so. Seems to me you've become attached to this share, emotion isn't good in this game.

markymar - 17 Sep 2012 08:36 - 1933 of 2393

Still holding and also topped up another 15,000

Marky...I'm delighted that a and I say perhaps a commercial gas system has been discovered....it also proves that there are hydrocarbons all over the place in the eastern-southern basin......oil is possibly not far away and might be discovered with Scotia....this company is just valued at 200 million with perhaps a multi-trillion cubic feet gas discovery under its belt and loads of further potential discoveries oil or gas.....market's reaction this morning was wrong and I rightly topped up.....this is my main share and am proud to be in for the foreseeable future.

This isn't a bad result actually , wasn't a Duster like some wanted! Shows the massive Potential of this massive block, which has been already mentioned! As the next drill bears down , watch this rocket!

carsie68 - 17 Sep 2012 08:43 - 1936 of 2393

Result proves hydrocarbons present but surely shale gas will be exploited in Europe nearer markets and at less cost than the infrastructure needed to develop a gas find offshore Falklands. But the price seems a buy.

required field - 17 Sep 2012 08:44 - 1937 of 2393

Hydrocarbons all over the place.....and a lot more to be discovered it seems....undervalued by 100% in my view !....

markymar - 17 Sep 2012 08:48 - 1938 of 2393

Not much meat on the bones of the RNS but one thing for sure it looks a monster of a gas find

With BOR finding gas also FOGL in huge quantities this opens up the SFB as a commercial area without doubt.

This is one of the reason FOGL has attracted the partners it has which have the knowledge and money to move this project on.

Spot on Marky.....the big boys that have climbed onbooard know what they are doing should get back to 80p or more soon......perhaps 90p by end of week....(should be 190p)....but there you go...

cynic - 17 Sep 2012 08:48 - 1940 of 2393

and doubled-up at 71.5, so probably 1/2 to hold for now and 1/2 to trade ...... order book very strong, but that can be misleading as we all know

HARRYCAT - 17 Sep 2012 08:52 - 1941 of 2393

That may be correct rf, but in that case why isn't RKH sp up above the £3 level (or at one point £5) when we know that they have oil? Surely it's all a matter of time scale? There is going to be the initial euphoria when the drilling results come in, but many investors are not going to wait around for the field to be developed. The hot money will be back when FOGL next drill, but oil was what we really wanted here to get the sp to rocket, imo. Gas is much better than a duster, but the oil field isn't getting any bigger, which is a leaving RHK with the only oil discovery.

markymar - 17 Sep 2012 08:54 - 1942 of 2393

Harry Desire also hit oil

HARRYCAT - 17 Sep 2012 08:56 - 1943 of 2393

But that was the corner of the same field as RKH has, if I remember correctly?

markymar - 17 Sep 2012 09:01 - 1944 of 2393

Harry

The 14/15-4a farm-out well proved the southern extension of the Sea Lion and Casper discoveries and encountered hydrocarbons in the Beverley and Casper South (Shona) reservoirs.

HARRYCAT - 17 Sep 2012 09:03 - 1945 of 2393

So, yes to my question then!

markymar - 17 Sep 2012 09:04 - 1946 of 2393

Same field but diffrent targets so yes

Balerboy - 17 Sep 2012 09:09 - 1947 of 2393

Take 50% of your profit and watch the rest.,.

required field - 17 Sep 2012 09:13 - 1948 of 2393

I haven't got much of a profit yet.....to me all zose zat zell now zhould be shzot at vonze.....

Balerboy - 17 Sep 2012 09:15 - 1949 of 2393

funny how pro is very quiet now, suppose he's resting before the next drill.,.

required field - 17 Sep 2012 09:17 - 1950 of 2393

Bottom line is good result.....better if it had been oil but opens up other large potential discoveries in the basin : verdict : undervalued by a mile !....
