Thanks gibby. You see the panic selling on your screens more than perhaps we do at home.
Also this share and other oil ones are a gamble early on. In these times investors have moved money to save havens ie gold, food shares and cash, etc.

no probs dc - and believe you me - rrl is not forgotten - it is on the radar of many as is gkp and some others
i would not worry about rrl unless they duplicate des and turn oil into water with repeated success & have a run of dusters which i very much doubt - i do not even worry about puntland because some high ranking armed forces (what they have any how!) & political figures backing this and promised protection both on & off shore - this project goes to the top of the country out there - they are desperate for the cash - no pirate or tribe will stop this

Just hope conoco do not rear up if there is a strike. I am staying clear of views of pirates etc as you can understand from the past. Conoco should have lost all rights
to Puntland.

it will be ok
btw for info - not many know this but a new type of 'blind' platform is being tested where nobody not even the mms will know who is actually bidding or offering what - it may never happen and many are annoyed others like it - you will see the values but not who lol! i think that would turn things upside down if that happened and be interesting - we'll see - might never happen then again :-)) yeeeeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!

Just wonder what will happen to rmp if the two interests are proved and sold on. May partner range in future or go it alone.

Africa Oil maps out exploration venture with Denovo

NAIROBI, Sept 21 (Reuters) - Canada's Africa Oil Corp has agreed with Denovo Capital Corp to create an oil explorer focused on the semi-autonomous Puntland region in Somalia, the Vancouver-based company said.
They have formed Horn Petroleum Corp after the acquisition of all issued and outstanding shares of Canmex Holdings by Denovo. Horn Petroleum shares are due to start trading in Vancouver on Sept. 23.
Canmex, formerly a subsidiary of Africa Oil, holds a 60 per cent interest in production-sharing agreements for the Dharoor Valley exploration area and the Nugaal Valley exploration area in Puntland.
Africa Oil said it has a 51 percent stake in Horn Petroleum.
In August, Africa Oil said it had signed a contract for a drilling rig for two exploration wells it plans to sink in Puntland with its partners, adding it had awarded a contract to Sakson Drilling and Oil Services for a 1,500 horsepower rig.
This year, Africa Oil said it planned to drill up to eight exploratory wells in blocks it holds interests in across east Africa, two of which will be in Puntland.
The two wells will be drilled in the Dharoor Valley block, in which it has a partnership with Range Resources and Red Emperor to drill areas targeting gross best estimated prospective resources of some 300 million barrels each, Africa Oil said.
Gas discoveries in nearby Tanzania, and significant proven oil reserves along the border between Uganda and Congo, have encouraged interest in the region.

Puntland News Friday
Surprised no ones picked up on this yet but it's a near certainty we will be seeing a material Puntland update on Friday. The fact Horn Petroleum won't be listing on the markets without a substantial RNS is a safe bet and as they only have one project it's got to be Puntland. So I'm expecting a substantial announcement on Friday regards drill mob and dates.
