Watching EME, at the current levels, cant stay at this level forever i'm told.
2010 hopefully an EME revival in the making, see it rising up slowly in the weeks ahead, quiet one to tuck away..

The problem with good news or success Al is, you ending up buying when the sp has rocketed..but agree if good news is released, then sp will shoot once again..

the problem with EME is that it has a well-founded reputation for issuing good news which is then quickly followed by a more damaging caveat

...and the management leave much to be desired.

I think if you look at a chart of the whole of EME's existence you will see that its early promise has been hit time and again by worse and worse news.
They've failed at every turn and cynic hits it on the head. Each RNS that gives an apparent boost to their chances always has hidden bad news, which ill-informed investors do not see, and is then followed by updated news whereby the "good" of the previous release is almost completely negated.
The price will bounce; it always does with speculative companies, but there are just so many better options around IMO.

Al, I agree the price will most definately bounce, hence I am watching these stocks once again incl EME. I do my own research and follow my own decisions.

Kennedy-1H - Fracture Stimulation Program
Empyrean has been advised by the Operator, Texas Crude Energy Inc ("TCEI"), that the fracture stimulation operations at Kennedy-1H commenced as scheduled on Monday 18th January. The operations thus far have been executed as planned with the fourth stimulation stage out of fourteen underway early on the morning of Thursday 21st January local time. It is expected that the stimulations will be completed next week and thereafter the isolating plugs that are set in-between each stimulation stage will be drilled out with coiled tubing and the well will be flowed back to sales.
Easley-1 H - Commencement of Drilling
TCEI have also advised Empyrean that the Patterson #150 drilling unit has now completed rig-up and the Easley-1H well was spudded on Thursday 21st January. The well is scheduled to include a vertical pilot hole from which additional data on the Eagle Ford Shale will be gathered. The well has been designed with a 4,000 ft horizontal section and will access both the Austin Chalk horizon, which is locally prevalent within the Sugarkane Field and the Eagle Ford Shale when it is subsequently stimulated. The well is located approximately 2km to the north east of the Weston-1H well. The Easley-1H well will be the first new well to be drilled under the farmin agreement with Hilcorp Energy within the Sugarloaf AMI.
A further announcement will be made as significant developments occur.

Excellent, it seems 2010 could see the re-emergence of EME.
I bought in before the herd mentality creeps in. The sp has been as high as 1.50+, but i'd be happy to see it break the recent high of 26p, before getting too excited.
In the mean time Further announcements will follow no doubt.....

Kennedy-1H well flowing to test equipment and sales following stimulation
Empyrean Energy Plc is pleased to provide the market with the following update
on operations at the Kennedy-1H well.
Empyrean has been advised by the Operator, Texas Crude Energy Inc ("TCEI"), that
the isolation plugs set as part of the fracture operations have been drilled out
and the well commenced unloading at 0100 hrs on Thursday 28th 2010 (USCST). The
initial production rate at 0700 hrs on Saturday 30th January (USCST) using a
22/64 choke was 4.39 mmscf/d gas and 1,132 bpd of condensate. The water
production rate, from the recovery of frac fluids, was 408 bwpd.
Whilst these initial rates are very encouraging, the following points should be
noted:-
This is an initial production rate during clean up and is not yet
indicative of a short or long term production profile.
The well still has considerable fluids to recover from the fracture
stimulation operations.
The well is flowing from approximately 2,200 ft of stimulated Eagle Ford
Shale with the remainder of the 4,000 ft horizontal liner isolated and not
contributing.
The well is currently producing through the 7" production casing, a
production tubing string will be installed in due course.
Empyrean Executive Director Tom Kelly commented "We have a very encouraging
initial gas rate with a high condensate ratio at this early stage of testing.
The high condensate ratio is significant for the commerciality of the well and
wider field. We look forward to seeing how the well performs following clean-up
and also the imminent fracture stimulation of the Weston-1H well."

Expanding circles or ever decreasing? Don't forget that "Empyrean has a strong management team, with many years experience in both the global investment and energy industry. The company is currently involved in five projects and continues to pursue other exciting energy opportunities." So that's ok then. ;o)
Here's to the future, whatever that may be.

I think the price is right to buy at current levels, once the good news is deliverered it's always too Bl****dy late to buy as MM's raise the price, and the herds start flocking in. Thats the wrong time to decide...
Very optimistic once again on EME, Having been on the side lines for many many months, but confident EME will delivery for 2010. Thats my own opinion BASED on my own research.

EME up almost 10% today, the fact is Project works at long last and "timely" appears to be going their way. Market capitalisation currently sits undervalued at just 12m, and thats with 5 projects on the go. Should be nearer 20-25m.
A no No brainer, hence now was the perfect time to take stock.
