Jubilee Platinum (JLP)

Sooner44 - 15 Apr 2005 08:31

Any holders out there - there's some buying going on.....

Pond Life - 01 Jun 2006 12:48 - 195 of 798

The company's prospects are fine - it's just the market that's crap. I should be buying back in at these levels, but I just don't feel confident about making the investment right now. Miners are on a bit of a hiding at the minute and the shares could get cheaper still.

Pond Life - 02 Jun 2006 15:19 - 196 of 798

And they are getting cheaper still. Will we get down below 60p?

soul traders - 02 Jun 2006 18:06 - 197 of 798

Been watching this one for a while on and off.

Excellent prospects but in the current soggy market there could be a bit more downside over the summer. The chart isn't encouraging, IMO, so I think your sub-60p could be well on the way, Pond Life.

On the positive side, there should be buying opportunities aplenty.

WDIK, PDYOR, etc.

Hey all,

been a while since we saw the dizzie highs of 1.00 - there's no real news out there, any one with information? We seem to be getting some big drops regularly with little explanation - yet the prospects still seem good long term?!!

TOMMY123 - 20 Oct 2006 16:04 - 199 of 798

Its very quiet out there. Any advise

Its very quiet out there.

Tommy,
I bailed out again at just under 70p. I still think that this will do great things one day, but not soon. I have other fish to fry in the meantime. Good luck if you are sticking with it.

queen1 - 21 Oct 2006 13:01 - 202 of 798

I'm still in Tommy. World class prospects for JLP so just a case of sitting tight IMO.

simon102 - 24 Oct 2006 17:42 - 203 of 798

Tarket price of between 1.20 & 6 in the next 5 years depending on results of JP mining outcome. I am in all the way to the bank!!!!

Yes everyone has disappeared!

Oakapples142 - 27 Nov 2006 09:11 - 205 of 798

News of a possible coup in Madagascar has caused silence. I sold and am "cooing" all the way to the bank (80% up) I will be back as the long term of the stock still looks good but only without politics

chad - 24 Jan 2007 14:15 - 206 of 798

nice start to the year for this one

queen1 - 24 Jan 2007 17:48 - 207 of 798

I agree chad. It looks like a potential break-out to me, back to the highs of 98p seen last year. Hope I'm right!

chad - 26 Jan 2007 11:32 - 208 of 798

Are we expecting some newsflow soon or is the latent rally just down to the uptick in platinum prices this month?

queen1 - 26 Jan 2007 12:55 - 209 of 798

I'm not sure chad but looking at the chart there's no resistance until 98p.

queen1 - 05 Feb 2007 09:40 - 210 of 798

Here's the newsflow chad:

Jubilee Platinum said its first borehole RAN1 drilled in the Ranomena ultramafic intrusion at Lavatrafo, Madagascar, produced 'very pleasing results' intersecting about 49 metres of continuous platinum group metals (PGM), nickel and copper sulphide mineralisation.

'We are very pleased with these excellent results from this first borehole as we believe that they could be indicative of a major extension to the mineralisation we have already seen in Lavatrafo,' chief executive Colin Bird said.

The company said a second borehole RAN2, some 400 metres north of and along strike of RAN1, has been drilled and results are expected later this month.

chad - 05 Feb 2007 18:23 - 211 of 798

Yea, results seem promising. :-)

queen1 - 05 Feb 2007 19:04 - 212 of 798

Absolutely - 98p here we come? And if so, where after that (assuming it breaks through??)

chad - 05 Feb 2007 21:56 - 213 of 798

When I first picked up these shares back in '05 I heard a price target of 170, but think that was the house broker.

queen1 - 05 Feb 2007 22:58 - 214 of 798

I know that 140p was being touted as "exploration potential" but I'd settle for 170p!
