Reckitt Benzicker is not normally a share associated with casino trading.
However, in the last two days it has become very volatile; gaining 5% yesterday and falling ca. 6% this morning . I have been watching this share for a while since I hold some option position and have not seen such price volatility before. I have not heard news to account for this.
Does anyone here have any info to explain this extraordinary volatility ?

CEO announced his retiremant today.....

Greystone: did investors not know that yesterday when they drove the sp up 5% ?

Perhaps he took the company cash till with him to finance his retirement .
Was only noticed this morning after he had left the HQ ? :-)

However, JP Morgan raised its earnings forecast for Reckitt yesterday and investors were
also pleased the OFT Gaviscon fine was not larger.....

I remember you from the good old days at ADVFN and the fine bottles of plonk you used to distribute to selected posters.
Perhaps you should revisit that scheme since the BB here is a bit quiet and needs some encouragement. Otherwise excellent site, especially the graphs .

BTW this BB does not seem to allow editing or updating thread headers ?? It would be useful if that could be done to incorporate new info like news, divi dates etc .

With regard to editing titles, we do not allow this, but should you need to change a title at any time, just let us know and we will happily take a look,

Ian: there may be technical problems of implementation but I can certainly see a lot of advantages. The Header is the shop window for each thread and like in retail shop windows can be enhanced by adding enhancement features from time to time. It's something your team may wish to think abouty a bit more .

RB up today by 80 after 250 fall yesterday. What a roller-coaster.
I will be glad when it settles down .

Just take some Gaviscon and relax.... I'm sure you'll recover soon. :)
