Central Rand Gold today provides a brief update detailing significant events that have occurred subsequent to the release of the 2013 Interim Report on 19 August 2013.
Highlights:
· US$7.25 million (gross) raised via the issue of Loan Notes to the new Strategic Investor, Redstone Capital Limited
· Proceeds will be used to improve milling and crushing circuits to increase overall plant capacity, reduce primary crushing costs and increase overall production
· Simultaneous delisting from the London Stock Exchange ("LSE") Main Market and admission to the Alternative Investment Market ("AIM")
· Ritz pumps, contributed by the Company to the Acid Mine Drainage, have arrived in South Africa
· Encouraging initial sampling results from the Crown East Joint Venture with Goldplat Recovery Proprietary Limited .

Central Rand’s upgrades include installing a primary jaw crusher, which will help reduce primary crushing costs from about 24 rand ($2.49) per metric ton to 12 rand per ton, the company said.
“Early indications are that the capacity of the operations will be up by 150 percent,” Hodgson said.
“The ability to have a mine in continuous production is something Central Rand has not had.” - Bloomberg News

eh listen this could still be a 100 bagger if you bought like i did at 0.4p just before suspension...i did the same with qxl at 0.2p..had £10k's worth when the market cap was just £2m and would have been a millionaire if i hadnt sold too early

Q X L should be £2 not 2p i held to £10 my next @ £16 my next buy was £100per share takeover cheque in the post . sounds good but only small money in.
gold is in the doldrums leave alone.
