Avesco Group. formerly Investinmedia plc. (AVS)

Balerboy - 11 Mar 2014 15:07

Thought these worth a mention, good looking chart climbed steadily to 235p then had a buy back in Jan. Now currently at 109p with a 4p div and 4.5% yield. Brokers have a buy recommendation.

Decided to put my bit of spare cash here for div tomorrow as oppose to DLG as they sold assets to pay special div last year, the 12p div is tempting but could take a long time to get sp back to break even with falling revenues. RM. was also temping but thanks to skinny a consolidation along with special div put the breaks on that one. So have gone for a company that looks as if it can climb the sp ladder and give me a profit with a good div.,.

12p was worth having and got out in profit but took a long time, not so sure I'll be in for 4.5p ;)

As a percentage of the sp, the divi is quite attractive, but this stock is very thinly traded and the spread is often 3-4% so not not for me either.
