Copper Miner (ATYM)

hangon - 30 Sep 2016 11:04

Rebranded as Atalaya Mining...something, Epic is [ATYM] -they plan to develop the old Rio-Tino mine near Seville, Spain.
On the face of it this should be an easy exercise, -er, when the copper price is greater than mining costs . . . . but presumably Rio closed it because they had alternatives... This miner was given a good write-up by IC a few months ago . . . but its fortunes are "resting" upon the Copper price and China . . . . which may take a few years . . .
Let's hope this Miner has spare cash to keep pumps and ventilation going until the Market improves...(30Sept~89p)
EDIT(21Nov2016)- up 10% now 138 - anyone else believe in this Copper miner...? The rise may be due to Trump (USA), suggesting "more Infrastructure" which means Elec/Coms cables, I guess.
EDIT(5Jan2017)- Thanks for the graph, the trend over 5-years has been down, with Mining generally depressed. Provided ATYM can keep going, there should be a day when their costs are less than others, but Markets can take time to mop up stockpiles.
EDIT: (8Nov2017)-sp=176 with highest Cu output . . . .
EDIT (28Aug2018)- sp= 212p - no recent Posts, so I guess no-one is bothered...
Edit (26Sept2018)- sp ~248 - Miners "down" in general.
