Enargis (EGS)

PPotu - 05 Nov 2003 10:09

Can anybody tell me what happened to Enargis? Is it still in business?

planttec - 05 Nov 2003 12:06 - 2 of 8

grrrrrrr dont mention energis to me matey
yes energis is still in business
was the first ever share i bought, 1500.00 of them at a couple of pence per share........got bought out and the shareholder were politely told to f**k off. Any money from the sale of the company was used to pay debts and bond holders, share holders got sweet fa.I have some very pretty share certificates if anyone cares to make me an offer on them !!!!

well, well it seems I am not the only one got burned, you are very lucky matey,I am the holder of 300,000 of these certificated shares.
Hold onto them the company will bounce back, according to the money programme on BBC2.

Even if it bounces back, will the (old) shares still be valid?

elgreco - 05 Nov 2003 15:42 - 5 of 8

the answer is yes: we still classed as shareholders of the company.

I'm sure I read some where that there is a consortium of shareholders trying to get this sorted out?

They were after donations to get the legal fees together from what I remember, anyone know any more?
