Cobras,
You can obtain a record fo your trades form the broker, but you will have to calculat your profits/losses to see if CGT is due or not.
If you are in AIM stocks, don't forget BATR.
Anything in an ISA doesn't have to be declared.

September 30th if you want the inland revenue to do the calculations, January 31st if you do your own calcs. As at 1st Feb they are able to fine you
(so for 04/05 you should have submitted by jan 31st 2006 at the latest)

Help needed. End of January 2006 I bought 2000 LMS at total cost 5131. Sold 2000 LMS in Nov 2006 for 5746. In between they split off their investment arm Leo Capital, with shares issued to LMS holders on a 1 for 1 basis. These began trading at 70p and I still hold 2000. Any informed opinion much appreciated on the capital gain calculation on sale of LMS shares (i.e. is any account taken of notional cost of Leo shares?).

if you go to
www.hmrc.gov.uk/helpsheets/ir285.pdf and page down to page 5 of the helpsheet it explains how to apportion the initial cost between the two resultant holdings after the share issue. If youre still confused drop me an internal message

Looks good, though not used it. One worry I have is that your information appears to be loaded on their software which poses a risk, whereas using a program loaded on to your own PC means that confidentiality is assured. I know there is a Privacy statement, but..........
Sharescope offer a comprehensive download facility, but at a price.
