Arena Leisure - BREAKOUT! (ARE)

dorothyperkins - 10 Apr 2007 09:48

Any target on the chart? Last time it was here, it went straight to 264p more or less.

fliper - 15 Jun 2007 13:08 - 20 of 52

8 mil of buys today , good news on the way ?

stan59man - 15 Jun 2007 14:10 - 21 of 52

Haven't heard anything as yet, but some obvious heavy buying.
Is there a stock overhang?

Greyhound - 15 Jun 2007 14:55 - 22 of 52

I've held for a while here but hadn't seen the thread! I'm expecting this should start hotting up very soon. As we get closer to St Leger Day and the new developments I understand at Doncaster are looking good. That and the continued talk of the Reuben bros. holding a stake and interest in merging with Northern, this is increasingly becoming a good property play in my opinion.

Large volume today but not exactly producing any results???

Greyhound - 08 Aug 2007 15:23 - 23 of 52

This one finally picking up today. Perhaps on the back of yesterday's volume something is afoot and maybe a takeover approach not so far away?

Greyhound - 09 Aug 2007 09:54 - 24 of 52

Another healthy rise this morning (albeit from substantial lows) but things hotting up here.

fliper - 10 Aug 2007 09:39 - 25 of 52

Good news on its way , takeover bid ?

Greyhound - 10 Aug 2007 09:50 - 26 of 52

possibly but not in the immediate short term because of the chairman's share purchase yesterday. That was a large share purchase, 1.2m shares, clearly he thinks this is dirt cheap and it could be there's something large happening and it takes time to bring it all together.

fliper - 10 Aug 2007 10:00 - 27 of 52

I think they are looking to buy out another company .

Greyhound - 10 Aug 2007 10:05 - 28 of 52

From what I've been reading elsewhere perhaps reverse into something larger?? I'm going nowhere!

fliper - 10 Aug 2007 10:16 - 29 of 52

I will find out from my friend who knows someone from are and report back .

scottinvestor - 16 Aug 2007 14:43 - 30 of 52

u better hurry up before they are 5p, lol

fliper - 16 Aug 2007 15:21 - 31 of 52

A private buyer has been buying up stock . Doncaster opens up thursday .

fliper - 16 Aug 2007 15:26 - 32 of 52

The hotel is the second phase of the exciting plans for the redevelopment of
Doncaster Racecourse. The first phase, which will cost around 32 million,
involves the replacement of the old grandstand and exhibition hall with
state-of-the-art facilities for racing, conferences and exhibitions, together
with new stabling, weighing room and stable lads' accommodation.

Phase one is scheduled for completion in August 2007, in time for the world's
oldest classic horserace, the St Leger, in September

halifax - 16 Aug 2007 15:31 - 33 of 52

According to RNS dated 1/8/07 the hotel will not open until 1st quarter 2009, the racecourse is due to be officially opened by Princess Anne on 12/9/07.

Greyhound - 16 Aug 2007 15:35 - 34 of 52

Chairman's investment not looking so good!

fliper - 16 Aug 2007 15:39 - 35 of 52

Doncaster Racecourse on schedule to stage a trial event in August 2007
and to be officially re-opened by HRH the Princess Royal on 12 September
2007, the first day of the Ladbrokes St Leger Festival , sorry its the granstand thats open .The redevelopment of Doncaster Racecourse is drawing to a close. Although our
contractor has advised us that the severe adverse weather in the area in June
caused delays to what was always a very tight schedule, we remain on target to
stage a trial event in August and for HRH the Princess Royal to officially
re-open the Racecourse on 12 September for the start of the Ladbrokes St Leger
Festival.

Further catering facilities, including a food court and champagne and seafood
restaurant, have been introduced that were not part of the original development

fliper - 16 Aug 2007 15:49 - 36 of 52

Got a few more at 51.25p and the sp is moving up again .

scottinvestor - 16 Aug 2007 16:26 - 37 of 52

fliper - 23 Aug 2007 15:25 - 38 of 52

Moving back to were it should be . This one could be a winner in 2008 with all their plans .

Greyhound - 07 Sep 2007 08:18 - 39 of 52
