Fever-Tree is the world's leading supplier of premium carbonated mixers for alcoholic spirits by retail sales value, with distribution to approximately 50 countries internationally.
Based in the UK, the brand was launched in 2005 by Charles Rolls and Tim Warrillow to provide high quality, natural mixers which could accompany the growing demand for premium spirits. The Group now sells a range of 12 differentiated flavours to hotels, restaurants, bars and cafes ("On Trade") as well as supermarkets and off-licenses for retail purchase ("Off Trade"). Approximately 70 per cent. of the Group's sales were derived from outside of the UK in FY13 with the key overseas markets being the US, Spain, and Belgium.
The Group's mixers are designed to be accompaniments for alcoholic spirits or used in cocktails, although they can also be consumed on their own. Since 2005, the Company has launched at least one new product a year, which includes 4 variants of tonic water, 2 variants of ginger beer, 3 variants of lemonade, and one variant each of ginger ale, soda water and cola.

GIN BRITAIN: Sales of spirit rocket past £1BN for first time
BRITAIN is fast becoming a nation of gin drinkers as sales of the spirit rocketed past the £1billion mark for the first time.
The spirit is going through a renaissance at the moment, hitting new levels of popularity
The so-called gin renaissance has led to a boom in the trade with 56 new distilleries setting up.
A gin-themed hotel, gin and tonic flavoured ice cream and G&T drizzle on BBC’s Great British Bake Off is further evidence of a revived thirst for what was once known as Mother’s Ruin.
In the past 12 months, a total of £1,025,000,000 worth of gin was sold in Britain, says the Wine and Spirits Trade Association.
Britons also downed more than £1bn of champagne and sparkling wine in the same period.
The gin revolution shows no sign of slowing
Miles Beale, Wine and Spirits Trade Association
Drinkers still enjoy a pint of beer or cider at the pub but the WSTA says wine and spirits are gaining ground.
Miles Beale, WSTA chief executive, said: “The WSTA’s latest Market Report shows how popular gin has become with UK consumers, including those supporting British pubs. (correct)
“While bar owners and restaurateurs have seen the magic and versatility of the quintessentially British spirit gin menus and bespoke glassware are now a regular feature in pubs too.
Despite gin gaining traction, wine is still the most popular alcoholic drink in Britain
“The gin revolution shows no sign of slowing and consumers are enjoying the celebrated juniper based spirit in all sorts of creative ways.
“We were delighted to see a gin and tonic drizzle cake making an appearance in the latest series of the Great British Bake Off.
And wine too – the nation’s most popular alcoholic drink – continues to play an extremely vital role in our pubs, including as part of the broader British food and drink revolution.
“Wine and spirits, gin and fizz in particular, are now mainstays of a successful pub, showing the increasing diversity of our industry and the modern consumer.”
The surge in gin consumption surprised independent experts who estimated sales would not pass £1 billion until next year.
According to government figures, 56 new distilleries went into production in 2015 - 28 in England, 12 in Scotland, 10 in Northern Ireland and six in Wales.
Unbelievable facts about alcohol
In 12 weeks up to July, £149 million worth of gin was sold in British pubs, bars and restaurants - up 19 per cent on the same period last year.
Earlier this year, a hotel devoted to gin opened in Portobello Road, Notting Hill, west London.
The Ginstitute includes a museum, blending room and restaurant serving more than 200 different varieties of the spirit.

Best-aim-compaies-2016-named
AIM growth business of the year
It is no great surprise that spirits mixers supplier Fevertree Drinks (FEVR) is the most nominated company, having won newcomer of the year in 2015 and given its share price has continued to outperform. And the first of these nominations is in this new category sponsored by the government's Business Growth Fund.
Fevertree has grown rapidly, but the share price still seems to defy gravity, even after early shareholders have sold shares. Dart Group (DTG) has a much longer history and more recent growth has come from its budget airline Jet2.com and related travel activities. Business communications services provider Gamma Communications (GAMA) has grown consistently both before and after flotation, while telematics technology supplier Quartix (QTX) has supplemented its fleet growth by international expansion and installations for the insurance industry.
Best guess: Fevertree Drinks

AIM growth business of the year
Fevertree Drinks (FEVR)
This is the first time this award has featured. Spirits mixers supplier Fevertree Drinks (FEVR) has graduated from 2015 newcomer of the year to growth business of 2016. Fevertree has grown organically which makes its performance even more impressive. Cash generated from operations enabled the cash position to improve by £7 million in the first half of 2016 even though £2.65 million was paid out in dividends. Fevertree floated at 134p a share and the current share price is seven times that level even though early backers have sold some or all of their stakes, Fevertree is an international business with three-fifths of revenues outside the UK.

unfortunately i only have 1,200 of these in my sipp and have never managed to persuade myself to buy more
actually, i had to pay £2/3 more for these than for a previous holding which i sold
even so, they have now doubled in value, so not exactly complaining
