Could ETQ's share price be soon to benefit from their developments with the new UVGI Nightingale Mobile Air Filtration Product.

New UVGI air filtration product

In November 2002, the ETQ announced its new Nightingale UVGI air filtration product, to be produced by a new joint-venture company, UVGI Systems Limited, owned 55% by the Group and 45% by Suvair Limited. This rapid response mobile air filtration unit is capable of killing the MRSA super bug and other airborne pathogens.

The UVGI unit has widespread application where there is need to keep
air free of dangerous live bacteria, viruses, and fungal spores, including
hospitals, schools, cruise liners, aircraft, food processing, and military
applications.

The UVGI unit uses a high intensity Ultra Violet Germicidal Irradiation ('UVGI')
filter, which has been designed to control harmful and dangerous airborne
pathogens, such as Anthrax, Tuberculosis, and Staphylococcus aureus, the
causative agent in MRSA. The filtration system is combined with use of high
intensity Ultra Violet light, which inactivates micro organisms by disrupting
their DNA structure.

Tests of a prototype at the Defence Science Technology Laboratory ('Dstl') at
Porton Down, the centre for excellence for the Ministry of Defence, showed that
the UVGI unit captured and/or destroyed more than 99.9% of Bacillus subtilis
spores, a simulant for Anthrax bacteria.

Since November, second generation units have been developed, which will go on
applications testing at an NHS Trust Hospital in December 2003, following
building completion of its new haematology unit. It is also anticipated the
UVGI unit will shortly go on laboratory testing in the United States with
contractors nominated by the Department of Homeland Security.

Concern seems to be hotting up on the T.V. news that the MRSA super bug is still killing and disabling people visiting or as patients in NH Trust hospitals. It would be surprising if NH Trust hospital do not notice and Buy this product before they get to many expensive law suits for compensation claims.

Definitely a stock that could soon be heading north. Worth buying in but DYOR

Thanks for the large post of last night. I can see why you feel the way you do and agree with Woodie the amount of work you put in you deserve to come out on top. Too risky for me though. I think that for hospitals to have complete protection they will have to buy a lot of units. As they are a stand alone unit and about the size of an american fridge there range of cover must be limited, hence more will be required and with a cash strapped NHS who knows.

Any product that can clean up our hospitals and get rid of that awful MRSA bug has got to be good news. I really do hope they succeed then everyone is a winner not least of all the patients.

My do dars are'nt big enough for this one but any one holding good luck.

Re : my previous post. Last 45 minutes of trading....3 out of the 4 MMs were supporting the 5.50 pence bid in that they were ready to gobble stock at the this cheap bid price, they were not getting sellers hence one the MMs lowered the offer to 6.25 panic holders into selling - (Level 2) which still didn't work.
Incidentally, Level 2 closed very strong the best it can be at 3 v 1.

Buys outpaced Sells again today for the fourth consecutive trading day. With regards to the MMs actions, one just has to look at all the heavy buying this week especially on Monday at prices of 6.10 pence and above and look at the size and amount of sells that were going through.

There were no sellers at 6.25 pence, 6.00 pence, 5.75 pence and now the bid if at 5.50 pence and no sellers have appeared. This strengthens the stock in that when the price is rising we have high volume days and when the price is falling we have low volume days.

Conclusion :

One has only to look at all the heavy buying this week especially on Monday and the peanuts selling which has been 100K or less on the other days. Something is definetely brewing here having witnessed level 2 this week. Each to their own and all that.

The size of the Nightingale Units :

I emailed the CEO of ETQ asking if they have considered producing a smaller version of the Nightingale, and I've now had a reply. Well it appears there is a complete product range (and not just the one in the picture (website)) currently being marketed by N.Q. Environmental U.S.A. Here is the relevant part of the email:

"With regard to smaller versions of the product, we now have a complete product range on offer having signed an exclusive distribution agreement with N.Q. Environmental U.S.A.
They give us the opportunity to sell units as small as TV sets. Already N.Q. Environmental have sold and are selling the Nightingale unit in the U.S.A."

I am new to this game and it is a bit of fun for me (although anxious at times) but I would like to comemnt that I think as we are all supposed to be ADULT traders/investors the comments that you have endured today are somewhat unjustified. I say this because as ADULTS we have the ability to make our own decisions and to think for ourselves and I have yet to see any physical force in people deciding which stock to but and to sell. If people like your good self do research and deem to share your opinions with the rest of us tham I can only say that it is our choice as to whether to follow your comments or not and I for one value all comments whether I agree with them or not. Nightingale superbug killer in presentation to NHS chiefs

Energy Technique plc, the UK company behind the world-beating Nightingale air

Commission looking into the superbug crisis.

The company will tell NHS chiefs and members of the public how Nightingale has
been shown to be 99.8% effective by the Health Protection Agency at Porton Down,

The invitation to address the September 1st meeting at Newton Aycliffe, County
Durham, comes as Energy Technique continues discussions to sell Nightingale
units into the National Health Service.

Energy Technique Managing Director Leigh Stimpson said: "This marks a welcome
advance in our efforts to make contact with influential opinion formers and
decision makers within the NHS."

Mr Stimpson added: "We are especially pleased to be able to talk to members of
the public - the growing threat of MRSA in our hospitals is an issue that
affects everybody."

The Newton Aycliffe forum has been organised by the Commission for Patient and
Public Involvement in Health, an independent public body sponsored by the
Department of Health. Its forums - run independently of the DoH, are intended to
bring local needs into policy making agendas.

Nightingale uses ultraviolet radiation combined with sophisticated air flow
systems to attack the DNA of killer germs such as MRSA, anthrax and TB. First

Couple of tick ups with the price at 6.75-7.50 pence now. Good buying continues with about 2.6 million in buys and 600,000 in sells reported. There should be lots of mentions in the weekend press leading to buying continuing into Monday.

Sue hows the level 2, Not sure how long they can keep the offer at 7.25p .Buys flooding in. Have 3 trades running at present. Rolled over at 7.2p- 7.25p on T25

Very heavy buying continuing. 2 * Market Maker buys have come through at 7.25 pence. WINS who are one of the market makers have another large buy order to fill. WINS were the ones who filled the 500,000 T (single protected purchase) buy at 7.12 pence earlier.
